Just got back from a weeks stay at delight hotel and there were some pros, and some cons: Pros: Staff are friendly and helpful and the hotel is clean and modern. The rooms are spacious, and our view was beautiful of the bay. It’s great having the beds at Lori beach included - a very nice perk! From walking around, I’d say it’s certainly one of the nicest looking hotels in the area. Cons: There were some key details missing - Room has NOWHERE to hang towels, not even hooks behind the doors! We had bad weather most days, so hanging on the balcony wasn’t an option. A kettle is provided, but no tea/coffee/mugs. Air con didn’t work in our room. We went off season, but sunbeds weren’t out and bar wasn’t open. This should be made clear when booking! The breakfast is okay, omelettes were very nice, but there isn’t even a toaster! There’s butter, jam, bread etc, but nowhere to make toast? I found this completely bizzare. They could also do with a bit of variety, swap the frankfurters for bacon some of the days or something. It is a small hotel, so it’s understandable not to have an extensive buffet, but a variety between each day would be nice. There’s a water dispenser in the breakfast room, but this is unplugged during the day, and we were told off for filling our bottle up from it. What kind of 4 star hotel doesn’t provide drinking water? It’s a basic necessity. This was actually really problematic one evening as my boyfriend got sunstroke and we ran out of bottled water. Delight hotel is a bit further out and there’s a bit of a walk to any shop, and i didn’t feel safe enough to go out on my own as a woman. Therefore we had to drink the tap water, which wasn’t ideal. There was also an unpleasant drain smell in our bathroom. Wasn’t the worst but not the nicest either! Generally speaking a really nice hotel and I would stay here again, but there’s a few things I think need attending to! But maybe I’m being picky…
