Tranquility guaranteed The booking quick and smoothly The hosts welcomed us and explained how everything worked. A very warm welkom ! The taxi they arranged for us was excelant. The Room was impecabal and bed excellent quality ! Airco and fan . Nice vieuw from our bed Terras was huge! Even with houses at both sides there was a very good sense of privacy . Perfect to enjoy the sun set. Kitchen with Microwave, oven dishwasher freezer. Also available camping chaires and big coolbox . In front of the facility, there’s an entrance to dive or snorkel. You can even snorkel until Andrea I Very happy and nice quiet Neighborhood. We did not arrive at One Ocean in our rental truck until after dark. Tsjitske, the property manager who lives off-site, was sitting outside waiting to greet us. What a pleasant and unexpected surprise! She gave us a 30 minute tour of our apartment, the grounds, and a general orientation to the island's layout with regard to supermarkets, roadways, and dive sites. Before we arrived, we got several very useful emails offering to arrange airport shuttle service or anything else we needed. They provided extensive restaurant and non-diving activity recommendations, as well offering to place a full breakfast in our fridge for our first mor ing there so we wouldn't have to try and food shop immediately after arriving the previous night. We accepted that offer and accepting it was worth it. If you stay at One Ocean, do yourself a BIG favor and ask for the 1st day breakfast service. You will not be sorry - we couldn't finish eating all the food provided in a single meal. We also decided for convenience to get our SCUBA tanks from One Ocean's partner dive shop - VIP Diving. Special thanks to Sharina, Martin and Perta at VIP. After we showed our certification level and nitrox cards at the shop on our first day and got our respective lead weights, for the rest of our stay on Bonaire the VIP Diving staff delivered two day's worth of tanks to One Ocean every other day and regularly took away our used tanks. No daily trips to and from a dive shop, or doing so during its business hours. Daily tank exchanges for us was as simple as pulling into our parking area in front of One Ocean at the end of a day if diving, placing used tanks under a tree in the yard, and logging the fresh tanks we took from the secured tank locker each morning. When we wanted 2 tanks each at 2AM, we just walked outside, loaded them in the truck, and set off for some night dives! As divers, we also appreciated the dedicated gear locker that came with our One Ocean apartment rental. It was outside and down on the beach level, directly next to a large sink for soaking gear and an outdoor shower with foot rinse spout. In the gear locker there were half a dozen strong hangars specifically designed for divers reg sets, BCs, and wet suits. There was also a large plastic tub for our daily use carrying masks, fins, lights, etc. back & forth to the truck. In addition, our private locking gear locker contained a cooler and two beach chairs for our use. Mid-week we got a very much appreciated housekeeping visit from Carolina. We left for the day before she arrived, and came back several hours later to an apartment that looked like we hadn't even been sleeping there, much less cooking, relaxing, drying wet swimsuits, and relaxing throughout the entire apartment. That brings me to the accommodation itself. We stayed in the Junior apartment. It had an ocean view from the bed, across a small but comfortable wrap around balcony. Very nice apartment, great service and everything is done to ensure you have a wonderful holiday. When booking, you will receive information about what to expect, towels are available, a cool box with cooling elements and much more. Makes a difference in the suitcase. Car rental is also very well arranged, a car is something you need on Bonaire, it is too hot to walk during the day. Only positive points and very nice, all the help from the hostess and host!

We have been coming here for several years. I’m always torn between writing an honest review or telling nothing because I want to keep this a secret. If the owners weren’t so completely magnificent I would just keep it secret. The accommodations are superb. They have everything you need for your stay. You can rent your car through them, snorkel right off the front, dive, sunbathe, relax in the shade or whatever you want to do. They’re located slightly north of town so you don’t have to be bothered with the cruise ship passengers. To make this place even better, this year they’re partnering with the Sea Turtle Conservation of Bonaire to help rehab the sick sea turtles. They have a tank where the turtles come to relax and rehab before being released. They are truly amazing people and their Botique is magical. They continue to make us love Bonaire.

Fantastic hosts and really helpful staff. Lovely apartments, clean and well appointed. Great snorkelling right in front of the property. Easy driving distance to downtown. We would highly recommend staying at Once Ocean while exploring Bonaire!

Stayed eight nights here in August. One Ocean is located at the end of a main road, away from the city center (about 10 minutes drive), so you get a somewhat secluded feel and it's quiet. Before even arriving, the staff reached out to me to make sure I was on track to arrive and wanted to address any questions I had. They even told me I could save some money by cancelling my booking with an online booking site I had used and to go direct through them, so I did; I appreciated they did this. The grounds are well kept, several chairs to relax in, a spa right on the water to enjoy a glass of bubbly and watch the sunset... We had rented the junior apartment, which has a separate kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. This was adequate for two people. Entire space was clean and comfortable. AC worked well in our room. Kitchen was stocked with just about every cooking item and utensil you'd need for a week. The hotel also offered a deal to hire a vehicle as well as a deal with a local dive shop. We did both of these things. The truck worked great and the dive shop was convenient. Really only had to go to the dive shop once to get fitted for dive suits and other items. Otherwise, all tanks (nitrox and air) were available on-site at One Ocean - super convenient! Everything you need is a short few minutes drive away. Grocery stores, restaurants, dive shops, etc. Recommend for sure. The Staff are very pleasant people. Entire facility is clean, modern, comfortable, and secure. A great place to stay and use as a base to explore the island and do some diving.

We just returned from a fabulous 12 day stay at One Ocean in Bonaire. After reading other reviews, I booked our stay in the 2 bedroom Penthouse apartment and from that point on, everything exceeded our expectations! Vronie and Geert are so organized and communicate everything you would ever need to know before the airplane even lands--restaurants, transportation, sights, etc. They recommended VIP dive center to complete our daughter's OW certification and she completed her course by day 3 and we were soon diving as a family! We loved having a driver meet us at the airport and having the truck we rented ready for us on arrival at the apartment. I knew I had chosen well when every day my family kept saying, "you did well finding this place!" We were close to our favorite spots on the northern coast and just a nice drive to the southern sites of Red Slave and Salt Pier. Our favorite time of the day was watching sunset from the huge balcony, eating dinner outside on the deck and a couple of times, my husband went night snorkeling looking for his favorite moray eel, Ed, on the house reef. The penthouse apartment was super clean, beautifully decorated, and had the best ocean views we could have every asked for! One Ocean is a truly special place to spend time enjoying the protected waters of Bonaire and relaxing before heading back to a new school year!

Returning to One Ocean Boutique Apartments & Suites on Bonaire felt like coming home to a slice of paradise. Our affection for this gem of a destination only grows with each visit, and this time was no exception. Opting for the penthouse once more, we were reminded of the unparalleled privacy and breathtaking views it offers. Despite the property being fully booked, it retained its serene and uncrowded ambiance. Waking up to the soothing sound of the ocean each morning was a daily luxury, setting a peaceful tone for the day. The ritual of starting my mornings with a swim in the crystal-clear waters as a form of exercise was both invigorating and a reminder of the unique pleasures this location offers. The convenience of snorkeling directly in front of the house allowed us to effortlessly explore the vibrant marine life without the need to travel. What can I say that hasn't already been echoed in numerous glowing reviews? The cleanliness of the apartment, its spacious terrace, the mesmerizing sunsets, and the comprehensively equipped kitchen (complete with a dishwasher) all stand out. However, the true essence of One Ocean lies not just in its facilities but in the people who breathe life into it. Vronie and Geert, the proprietors, continue to embody the epitome of hospitality and kindness. Their dedication to ensuring our holiday was as relaxing and enjoyable as possible played a significant role in our overall experience. Exceptional location, hosts and apartment! We stayed in the luxury one bedroom apartment that had everything we would want including an amazing view and some of the best snorkeling on the island right from our private beach. Double reef right in front with abundant corals, fish, crustaceans, rays and an easy swim to both Small Wall and Petrie’s Pillar dive sites. Our hosts were very attentive, accommodating and the nicest people you could ever meet.
