A great budget hotel as a base for exploring Krakow! In the Jewish district with plenty of nice restaurants and bars and supermarkets around and about 15-20 minutes to the Old Town. Perfectly quiet, clean and comfy, would definitely recommend. Didn’t have breakfast there but it is available, there is plenty of choice of coffee shops on the walk towards old town.

The staff were incredibly unhelpful. The front desk had a shift change and made us check in twice. The room service was brought with no utensils, napkins or sugar/cream for our tea. The room was never cleaned when we returned back to the hotel. We arrived at 2:30 and checking was at 3pm. They room wasn't clean. We went on a tour with a 6:30am pick up and returned at 5pm and our room wasn't clean. The hotel isn't that big. I expected more from the reviews, I was greatly disappointed. I would not recommend based on my experience.

La habitación era muy grande, con muebles amplios, decorados en estilo europeo de moda. La cama era de buena calidad. Es un poco de un paseo a 3 escaleras de mármol, y el ruido en las primeras horas de la gente que regresa de los clubes se podía oír. Pero con un par de orejas todo estaba bien. El desayuno no se sirve, pero fácilmente se obtuvo barato de los muchos cafés alrededor. Gana por más de £40 por noche para un par

When we arrived at the hotel both myself and my partner were disappointed Firstly we were expecting a room with a view what we actually got was a room overlooking a street with a tramline so you can imagine the noise ! When we spoke with reception she told us yes because we booked through a travel company rather than directly booking with the hotel there was no option for us to be moved unless we were going to pay a further £100 per night for the duration of our stay. On arrival also I noticed that the towels provided had lipstick marks on them( I didn’t mention this to reception ) we just used the other towel expecting a clean set the following day, this wasn’t the case we still had the dirty towel and the one we’d used hadn’t been changed either … When mentioning this to the hotel they did provide clean towels when we returned that evening but the dirty towels remained ( I don’t know if this is the case in Poland I’m not sure what the standard is but our beds weren’t made neatly just pulled over, the bin was emptied daily but no fresh toiletries, toilet roll or towels provided unless we asked for. We also didn’t find the staff friendly no interaction at all !! And trust me when I say I’m not one to complain or make a scene. Good points about the hotel- it was in a good location a little out the way (away from the hustle of the square but a 5 minuet taxi journey into the main square / or a 20 Ish minuet walk along the river to the square. The spa was nice and the massage was fantastic and very reasonable compared to Uk prices. I wouldn’t stay here again :( Expected more Not that we spent anytime in the hotel but I wouldn’t return. ALSO TIP anyone visiting Poland download bolt app ( taxi service ) we got a taxi from airport when we arrived it cost 150 Using a bolt taxi it cost us 40 ( we were 20 ish minuets away from airport ) Defo use the bolt app !!

The standard of this place is not comparable to another Novotel in Cracow (and that what it should be). Rooms with squicky beds, non-functioning lights, the breakfast room with absolutely no capacity matching the number of rooms - you have to stand and wait for your breakfast and coffee for 10' or more. This is unacceptable. But the best of it: no conditioner! The hotel changed their amenities to Rituals which would be great only if they did not save on the conditioner. My female friends with long hair were devastated - without a conditioner that has been present in all the hotels in at least last 30 years worldwide they simply could not comb their hair. So it is a semblance of a progress when you fake-upgrade but take away a product that is absolutely expected in a 4**** hotel. Even better: every day my friends demanded a conditioner at the desk. And they got a small bottle of Rituals produce, always with a remark ”oooh, I need to go and see... oh, yes, we have one sample, but it is our last one”. For fun we tried that many times and it repeated in the loop (”oh, it the last one...”), so it was clear that the management trained their desk people basically to lie (as they had the produce in the back office but just did not want to give tit to the clients). Unbelievable. Once they actually did run out of it and offered us some makes that were taken from other hotels... I don't even know how to comment on that. Poor restaurant (again, nothing to compete with another Novotel). Service and desk-people basically very nice but it's still too little for the expected standart. Never again.
