Aphrodite Hills Rentals - Junior Villas

Not the greatest experience. The level of cleanliness of the villa was absolutely below standard. Once you check into the villa, you are almost forgotten about. The cleaning brush and mop need to binned, disgusting. Thankful I brought cleaning wipes that was our saving grace. The good part of our 10day stay was at the golf club restaurant. Definitely will not be returning

I don’t normally write reviews but feel I need to on this occasion. This is the second time we have stayed here. Stayed in a villa in 2016 and had a fabulous time. Thought we would try the all inclusive hotel option. It’s a lovely hotel and food is great but elements are falling short of 5star. We had a swim up room and it was great. Just what we wanted. The rooms could do with a little painting (the wardrobes were touched up in different colours for example). The tv didn’t seem to connect to any channels but the kids used their iPad when needed. Cleaners and mini bar top ups were great. For the first few days it was a bit cold so there wasn’t enough space for everyone in the all inclusive restaurant- it was a bit like feeding time at the zoo. Once the weather warmed up a bit and we could sit outside it was much better and less noisy. It’s all very well having an adults only area but when you have well behaved children over the age of 7ish they should not really be prejudiced by not being allowed in certain areas/restaurants in a place advertised for families. That said, if I were travelling without kids, the options for adults only are good (separate pool/bar etc). The food overall was very good in every restaurant including the buffet. The service in the buffet was non existent and they were very slow to clear plates prompting us to have to move them ourselves. The service in the Mexican was amazing as was the food. The food in Jasmine was really very good but some staff were a bit short/rude-to be honest, mainly the English/Scottish ones. The snack bar was great - the lady there was very smiley/friendly and choice was good. Staff in some of the other bars were a bit non-plus/borderline rude. Not really what you expect in a five star. The restaurants in the village are very good but not included in the all inclusive. That was fine as we wanted a bit more variety. Bookings for Jasmine and the Mexican apparently open 2days before but each time I’m trying to book at exactly 10am the earlier slots had gone. However we turned up early and were given a table no problem. The spa was excellent and the gym in the spa is also good, but paid for. The hotel gym is outdated with some of the equipment not working. Couldn’t even be bothered to put a battery in the clock in the pool. Pool wasn’t heated until that was pointed out. We didn’t book with Tui (as I wanted an extra night but to fly earlier due to flight times) but we were told to use the Tui app for the programme and booking. I used the app and booked on to the fitness programmes and kids activities every day which was a really great option. Booking restaurants was also on the app. I would have absolutely been singing Tui’s praises until I took my son on the Easter Egg hunt. The hunt was ok but at the end he was in the line to get his Easter Egg only to be told that he couldn’t have one as we (his parents - not him) hadn’t booked with Tui. I was absolutely gobsmacked and he was so disappointed.

We recently returned from a truly memorable stay at Aphrodite Hills Rentals, Villas & Apartments. The experience was elevated significantly thanks to the outstanding concierge service provided by David, Markos, and Christiana. Each of them was exceptionally polite, warm, and genuinely helpful. The villa itself was immaculate - a spacious, light-filled three-bedroom property with a private pool and high-quality poolside furniture that made lounging in the sun an absolute dream. Everything was pristine and thoughtfully maintained, offering luxury and comfort in equal measure. The PGA golf course at Aphrodite Hills is nothing short of world-class. Beautifully kept and offering a challenging yet rewarding round, it’s a must-play for any golfer.

My wife and I have been several times and are always impressed with the level of service from the friendly and efficient staff and the quality of facilities. It was my wife’s birthday while staying this time and we had a lovely surprise when she received a birthday cake to our apartment.

We (4 adults) booked a Villa which was every bit as good as the listing but has noise issues (building works on either side of us). Customer service team did all they could to reduce/remove noise but in the end moved us to a terrific alternative Villa. Wonderful support to ensure we had a great break despite initial challenges. Big shout out to David in the customer team- lovely guy, did all he reasonably could to make sure we thoroughly enjoyed our break. This was our 9th visit to the resort - we’ll be back again no doubt!

I made a reservation on VRBO for an apartment in Paris. I made a very significant pre-payment for the apartment. 2 weeks ago, the reservation was cancelled, and I am getting the runaround from everyone. So.....beware......some question whether VRBO is a safe place to obtain a vacation rental.
