My partner and I had a wonderful, relaxing week at this hotel. We decided to upgrade to a room with a sea view, and we ended up in room 150 which has an absolutely stunning view of the sea and some of the smaller Greek Islands. The sunsets are phenominal! The hotel is situated about 150 yards or so from the beech in an extremely quite location. There aren't any houses or anything nearby, but there is a shop on site and Mastihari is only about 3km walk away. Being so close to the airport is great for the transfer, although you are then situated under the flightpath. However, the flights coming in and going out don't seem to be all that regular, so its not a big issue. The staff are all very friendly, when we checked in, it was quite late, so we had missed dinner (which finished at about 9.30pm) but they had sandwiches and fruit waiting for us, which was a really lovely touch. One slight critique i have is that although the receptionist explained everything when we got there, our tired brains could have benefitted from a guide/booklet to explain a few bits in our room, for example how to log into the WiFi and meal times etc. Wifi was non existent in our room, we only were able to log onto it at the bar, by the pool or otherwise in the main building. So bear in mind that you may need to buy data to be able to use the internet in your room. The room we stayed in was very basic, but the shower was hot and had decent pressure. The shower is set over a corner bath, and my partner did have a bath and said it was nice and hot and didn't take too long to run. The beds are quite firm, and the covers are that satin material that just slides off. The pillows were comfy though and the air con worked so well, we had to turn it off! There was a Nespresso machine with a few pods and a normal kettle woth some teas and coffees, the shop stocks replacements. The restaurant staff were very friendly and the fresh food section is a must if you want something 'Greek' or close to it. Otherwise I would say the selection is a bit bland, I would prefer more traditional Greek cuisine rather than catering to the tourists' palatte, but that's my preference. The salads were all fresh and we had no signs of food poisoning, so that's a win in my book! The bar is well stocked with the all inclusive cocktails being very nice and not too strong. They do charge you for other drinks such as traditional cocktails and branded booze and I would prefer that they set the price lower especially if you've gone all inclusive, the price of a cocktail was about £10ish which I think is steep. The bar also have a very nice selection of cakes and biscuits which you can help yourself too. The main pool area is lovely, very clean, gorgeous veiws. I didnt go up to the smaller pool, because there was no tree cover (and I'm pasty). All in all, the location is what would bring me back here. I would say its more of an adults hotel, I wouldnt bring my kids here because i think they'd be bored, bu
