Summer Village of Hippokrates - Adults Only

My partner and I stayed here in July 2024. The hotel is beautiful! There are 11 pools, the reception and bar area are lovely as well as the grounds. The food was delicious! We stayed here for 10 days and as expected after a week it was repeated however, not for people who don't want to try new foods/ fussy eaters but we loved it! The staff were lovely! Especially Yani and Chris on an evening. I am pregnant and they were always checking in on me and my partner. The only downsides to the hotel are, it's slightly out of the way with only a few bars and restaurants close by and a car or bike is needed to explore, but we loved this as it was our last holiday as just a couple for a while and wanted to relax. The gazebo was rather dirty, we had to clean it & the bathroom was a little shabby. Overall a fantastic time and we absolutely wouldn't hesitate to return. Thanks again!

just recently been here stayed in room 305 omg what an amazing place to stay at if you just want to relax and chill this is the place to go the staff the minute you walk in the door are very welcoming and friendly they have been have been amazing and help full. the food is out of this world loved every thing about the place. my only disappointment was is that there was no entertainment on at the bar which i think is attached to the summer village. but i do have to give a MASSIVE SHOUT OUT TO LOUISA our cleaner who cleaned our room every single day for the whole week super friendly polite such a lovely lady she went out of her way to turn our towels into love hearts for me and my fiancé

Re-visited this hotel after a 2 year absence and were so looking forward to going back as we had received a very warm welcome, with great food and wonderful, helpful staff. The hotel has since been renovated and only opened for the month of October 2024. The new rooms look amazing with shared pools and luxurious fittings, however, not for the British holidaymaker, so we found out. I booked the hotel 6 months before our trip only to find ALL premium and deluxe rooms unavailable and only standard rooms available. The new pool with it superior sunbeds and close proximity to the pool and the new 11 bungalow blocks - again all looked amazing - but not for the British holidaymaker. All newly renovated or newly built rooms were booked out to the German guests only - and so was the new swimming pool and sunbeds - which had room numbers on them. The British and Polish guests had the older pool and the worn sunbeds - and we were literally separated by a wall .... the irony! It seems the way forward for this hotel is to now cater purely for the German holidaymaker as apparently next year - this hotel will not be available on any British holiday websites and booking is now only via the hotel itself. However, the cleaning and catering staff were as lovely as ever, Anna on reception was simply gorgeous and helpful - food wasn't as good this time as last - but then again, being elbowed out of the way and sighed at by the impatient German guests didn't help and neither did the smoking allowed in outside eating areas. I am so sad to think that we are thought of so badly by our once delightful Greek hosts that they see fit to segregate British guests and all but bar them from delighting in future experiences in their hotel......have we really become that bad? It seems so.

Pros -Pools were excellent , clean and plenty of sun beds available. -Rooms were nice , clean and exactly as shown on website. beds very comfortable. -rooms in bedrooms had USB ports. -Toothbrushes supplied -Variety of foods , decent options but only for meat eaters. -Rooms cleaned daily , very friendly cleaner. -Friendly reception staff. -Aircon was good. -Grounds very well maintained. -Location was fairly rural , vehicle renting options , supermarkets and bus stop were very close though. -Entertainment twice throughout our stay. -Some good elements at the buffet e.g. Salad bar has many options and yoghurt bar at breakfast was great. Cons -Rooms powered only with the key card , only one key card supplied , the fridge therefore switches off when you leave the room. -food quality was not the best . -Hardly any vegetarian options at lunch and dinner, just lots of vegetables that were mainly boiled. -drinks options were very minimal . No cocktails , minimal spirits options, no drinks available on all inclusive past 10:30 PM. A coke was €2.50. -sneaky prices , pool towels were €2 per change , most alcoholic drinks cost extra , couldn't even get unbranded schnapps or amaretto on the all inclusive. Decent snacks at the bar cost extra such as nuggets , pizza. -Water not available on all inclusive . We were given 2 free bottles when we arrived. There was a water tap at the buffet so we were going to just fill bottles there but there was a sign saying 'do not fill bottles'. -snack options in the afternoon were limited and poor quality. -Bar and restaurant staff were not that friendly. Honestly sometimes asking for a drink we were made to feel like we were inconveniencing them.

Two friends shared a double room for seven nights with breakfast only. The guests were varied and discreet. Our room was part of the newly built part of the hotel while we got to know that the other side was recently upgraded. Most of the rooms have.a little patio facing a swimming pool (there are four in the hotel). Everything working well in the rooms which are nicely decorated. Not much storage space though. Breakfast was average, plenty of choice but not great quality. The staff was friendly and helpful and ensured that everything was very clean. The receptionists were very helpful in giving us good recommendations for places to go. The hotel is walking distance from the beach and has a scooter / quad / bike rental opposite to it, but we would recommend to hire a car in order to visit the island and its nice spots. Very strategic location because is positioned in the middle of the island.

Stayed here for four nights at the end of May. The hotel was quite quiet for a couple of days in terms of guests and staff were all friendly. The room was cleaned very well each day, and the grounds and the facilities were also clean and very modern looking. The only reason I have scored as a 3* was the all inclusive food and drink offering. The lager was very poor and the food whilst having some variety daily wasn't the best. Spirits from the all inclusive menu were decent albeit a little bland. The area is fairly quiet in terms of other restaurants but is very close to the beach and a bus stop that takes you to Kos Town. A very minor gripe but as we were there they were fitting new parasols to the loungers but they aren't adjustable so depending on time of day you may have to be shuffling back and fore to keep in the sun/shade.
