️ This place is perfect for a family holiday. Highly recommend to families and friends. ‍I read the reviews about the staff - I disagree with previous comments as every staff member is attentive, kind and respectful to all guests. It is always a pleasure to come to the restaurant, pool and main bars, ride a bus and talk to the friendly and knowledgeable staff!! Entertainment team is also great - leading stretching and aqua gym in the day and live singing, dancing, and bingo night in the evening! The rooms are clean and comfortable. Extra beds are available upon request. The pool is large, refreshing and clean and there are always enough sunbeds for everyone. We rented a car for the day from a desk in the hotel lobby - very convenient. ☀️ Highly recommend this place and I’m very grateful to Angela and all the staff for their attention to guests, comfort, activities, kindness and hospitality!!!! We shall be back again and again!

We have just come back from a lovely, 9 night stay at Lagas Aegean Village and couldn't recommend it more. The hotel is very pretty and the rooms all have sea views, we also had a proper double bed (not 2 pushed together), and found it very comfortable. The pool is large and there were always plenty of sunbeds, even if spending the morning at the beach and going to the pool for the afternoon. The shoreline is rocky so good for snorkelling, but the beach is sandy so ideal for sunbathing. A highlight for us was the restaurant! You are greeted at the entrance and directed to a table. I think they seat you in the same area, so you have the same waiter each day, which we thought was nice. The waiter goes around serving tea and coffee in the morning and takes your drinks order on an evening. The food was honestly excellent! Lots of fresh fruits, salads, bread baked on site, fish, meats, pasta, cooked vegetables, moussaka, spanakopita, baklava! It's very well run, so I never saw plates stacking up on tables or trays of food on the self-serve counters empty. It was also nice to not see people wasting food as is typical on summer package holidays. The whole dining experience just felt a bit more elegant and special :) Also to add, we found the staff across the whole of the hotel friendly. We spoke to a few other visitors while here and all had visited multiple times before. We have never been to the same hotel twice, but would come again. All in all, a very nice, quiet hotel with lovely food and a nice quiet section of beach, perfect for a relaxing break :)

Lovely hotel with nice views from room . Room was spotless and cleaned daily. The staff were lovely and attentive. Food was very good with plenty to choose from. Bus stop outside with bus into Kardamena and Kos town. We had no complaints and would definitely return.

I loved this hotel BUT...... Sadly, I have to agree with many other reviews, the person in charge of the restaurant was extremely rude to people. Ordering them to certain tables, taking water bottles from people who had checked out rooms so had nowhere to put said bottles etc. There was no need for his rudeness. He stands at the door and watches like a hawk. It was quite worrying and anxiety provoking as you had no idea if you might be the next person to get in trouble. He also stands near the tables at the snack bar in the afternoon and I felt as if my every move was being watched. The behavior of this person ruined what could have been a wonderful stay in the hotel. One waiter in the restaurant was equally rude, snapping at people when they asked for something. Unfortunately, the food (especially breakfast) also left a lot to be desired unless you are a fan of cold fried eggs. Food is only lukewarm at best. We were charged €30 to keep our rooms due to late checkout despite the hotel being almost empty as it was the end of the season. The room itself was very nice with a fridge, kettle, cups and glasses. No coffee or tea. There was no water in the rooms when we arrived late at night. Unfortunately again, my room was only cleaned properly once during the week I was there. On one occasion I got into bed to find the bottom sheet covered with the pollen, leaves or buds from the trees outside. I assume the cleaner left the door open when she made the bed. It was very windy. Clearly, she didn't even see all this when she put the top sheet on. A dirty glass had been on the side all week and only changed on the penultimate day due to a change of cleaner who also cleaned the floor, bath, sink and wiped down the units for the first time. The view from my room was to die for. I miss it so much. See photos. Sadly, I will not be going back as I want a relaxing holiday where guests don't feel they are under surveillance.

This is a comprehensive Pro's and Cons review. My Husband and I stayed here for 2 weeks in September, we arrived late in the evening but were able to get a drink from the main bar with it being open until 1am. Starting with the rooms Pro's - They're a good size with lots of hanging space, bathroom was compact but always hot water and good water pressure. Beds were comfortable and linens were changed every couple of days and towels daily if you wanted it. Tea and coffee making facilities and a small fridge. Good air-con. We had room 215 which was only a short walk from the main building. Cons - We didn't mind not having the views being closer to the main building but the patio was where you went into your room, small and nowhere to hang clothes to dry, we ended up pegging stuff all over the chairs and then couldn't sit on them. People walking past could see straight into your room unless you kept the curtains shut all the time. Lighting in the room was a bit too dim to see to put make-up on, same in the bathroom. The cleaners started in the rooms above us at 8.20am every single day, dragging furniture across the room, it was so loud you couldn't lie in if you wanted to. We did complain one day but they take no notice. You had to wash your own glasses and mugs in the room (not a problem if you had anything to wash them with but you don't) they were never changed and the sides were also never cleaned. Pool Area Pro's - Lovely big pool although very cold even with the sun on it all day. Loads of sun loungers and parasols, always got one regardless of what time we got there. No cons. Restaurant and Food Pro's - food was always nice, didn't have any bad food. Fresh bread was lovely, proper Greek yogurt and feta. Plates cleared quickly. Con's - Being told where to sit, food was very repetitive repeated weekly. Coffee in a morning you had to wait to be served and when they were busy you were lucky to get one cup. Staff - Always polite to us but we do make an effort. Shop - Expensive and only really crisps, biscuits and drinks. A bottle of wine is 18 Euro's! Entertainment - Daily aqua fit, darts, boccia. Night time is a bit hit and miss, they advertised a dance night which we thought would be Greek dancers and turned out to be the two entertainment girls trying to get people to do YMCA and the macarena, it was only 9.30pm and we're not teenagers. The two singing acts were good, they got people up dancing but be aware the evening entertainment is on for one hour only. At 10.30 it shuts off on the dot, you're then left sat in the bar with nothing to do. Location Pro's - lovely setting up the side of a hill Con's - A 2km walk into the town, there are no bars or cafe's on the way. A taxi was 8 euro's and we were in the car for 3 minutes I timed it! We walked in every day but it did get a bit tiresome, taxi's back were none existent and super expensive. On the whole we did enjoy our stay here but we wouldn't visit this hotel again. It wasn't bad but we wou

This hotel has the most amazing views, the hotel rooms are beautiful with house cleaning coming everyday doing an amazing job, the food was gorgeous there was always a variety of chicken, meat, plain pasta , meat pasta, potatoes, bread, fish. The staff in my opinion were lovely, just doing their job. The mini bus operated 24 hours and the bus men were lovely! The beach is just outside the hotel and there is a bus stop where you pay €2 each way to get into kardamena which is about a 15/20 minute walk. There is loads of shops, bars and restaurants and the place is over all lovely. The entertainment at nighttime was good with entertainment on throughout the day! There was so many sun loungers even if you arrived later on. The pool is massive , drinks are good especially the cocktails , the lunch wasn’t included in the price however there was a lot of variety and reasonablely priced. A shop was located in the hotel Serving drinks and snacks. We had an amazing time at lagas aagean village, some reviews are so unfair as it is such a lively and lovely place. We would 100% recommend this place to people.

We looked at the reviews of this hotel after booking, and hoped that they were one offs and that we would have a great time as we like to think that we’re generally easy going/easily pleased people. The outside of the hotel was beautiful and the insides of the room were basic, however the restaurant staff ruined this hotel for us. I’ve never known restaurant staff to be so rude, we even got accused of stealing water one night! Made to feel very unwelcome/uncomfortable the entire stay, we avoided the restaurant even though we had paid for the food there - you are scanned up and down before you’re allowed to enter (men aren’t allowed to wear shorts), and then told where to sit, the most unfriendly staff I’ve ever met - I even witnessed one staff member point at his head and say “problem tourist” whilst turning away from the lady he was talking about (none of the waiters had particularly good English). Customer service definitely needs to be improved, shocking for a 4 star hotel… A fantastic place to stay if you don’t particularly care about being treated like a peasant 👍
