Denise Apartments

we stayed here for four days to celebrate my wife's birthday , so due to plane delays we arrived at the apartments at 2 in the morning local time and one of the owners Nikos greeted us at our arrival ( never seen that before ). I would say the room we had was basic but functional, a hot plate fridge/freezer and beds etc , there is a ten euro daily charge for air con , so this may depend on when you go ( we only paid for one day ) . the pool wasn't very occupied and there always seemed to be sunbeds available , there is a bar by the pool that also serves food and drinks ( cold soft drinks and alcohol based ) and the food was very reasonably priced and very tasty .we worked out if you wanted you could stay there for the entire of the holiday and not need to leave at all , the hosts Nikos and Eli are very friendly and welcoming , they will ask for your name and will remember it . they bought my wife a drink for her birthday and one night gave everyone a shot of ouzo, the bar a screens showing sporting events , they speak English and Dutch and obviously Greek , there seemed to be regulars who cam every year and were treated like family , if you are looking for a good time with awesome hosts stay here , the main town is about a 30-40 minute walk away ( but there are taxi and bus options ), but this was a small inconvenience , if you want a holiday with lovely company and a nice atmosphere , stay here

Amazing hosts best apartments we have ever stayed in and we have been to many Greek islands,nikos efy are the best great food great hosts deserve 5 stars 🌟 🤩 sadly we have to leave on Tuesday evening and will definitely come back again to see our chef gordon 😀 ha ha,thanks for everything terry and vanessa cross from UK

Nikos and Efi amazing hosts. First time but definitely will be returning. Went with Jet2. excellent food. Reasonable accommodation for the price. Excellent views. The atmosphere created by the Nikos and Efi is outstanding 👏 👌. Highly recommend.

So here we go better late than never, if you want 5* book it this is not for you. I spent 2 weeks here in may in one of the apartments over looking the pool. The room is basic and requires updating just minor things. Grounds kept immaculate by the wonderful gardener Vasilla, Katrina serves food in the day at the bar so friendly and helpful. The cleaners work hard and are good at their jobs very friendly. The owners Nikos and Efi well just amazing couple nothing is too much trouble for them and go beyond to make everyone feel welcome had the pleasure of being their neighbours for a fortnight. Downside bus service hit miss and good half hour walk into town or 10 euro each way for a taxi and the apartments cash only so bear this in mind, no problem though to run up a tab and just grab cash next time go to town. Thank you all for a wonderful holiday. And big thank you for fixing the flag Nikos well appreciated.

The apartments are spacious and well laid out. Some updating is required. However they are really just somewhere to sleep. There is a good choice of food available in the bar area and varied entertainment of an evening from Karaoke to Chinese Bingo. The hosts are extra special and will go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. You arrive as guests and leave as family. We will definitely be back again...

If you're looking for five stars, go elsewhere. But if you're looking for two stars, for a good price and a fantastic time, then this is you're place. What it lacks in stars, it gains in the friendly, warm atmosphere. Niko and his wife admit, it's not luxury, but what they guarantee is that they will do everything to make you feel welcome and enjoy your stay. The rooms are basic but very clean, and have everything you need. The pool area is fantastic, ideal location, five minutes from Kos Town and all the nightlife you need. I am a very hard man to please, but I was extremely happy here. Like I said don't come expecting five stars for a two star price, but come, you will not be disappointed 👍
