Hotel Grand Kopaonik

I was staying in this hotel since I was a kid and there were good and bad times but this time the hotel was overcrowded, they were moving our towels and books from the sun beds while we were at the pool because there were not enough space for everyone. The halls were not heated so you would freeze out once you go out of spa. The water in the pool was cold, as well. The staff was over-busy because there was not enough of them to cover the crowd. The prices in the restaurant are StMoritz alike but unfortunately the feeling is far away. I would strongly recommend to management to take care of the loyal guests and keep an eye on the guests experience otherwise this will affect the business in the long-run for sure. It was much more bed&breakfast experience rather than 4* experience. We left hotel one day before our reservation was made and when we said to the receptionist we are leaving because we are not satisfied he didn’t say a word.

When you book a room in September for November, you get this. Former servants' quarters converted for guests. With a small window with frosted glass under the ceiling. A shame for a 5 star hotel. Also, the spa and wellness center was overcrowded and looked like a public pool. For breakfast, we had to wait 15-20 minutes to get into the restaurant. Only two coffee machines. you can imagine how long the line was. There are other small complaints, but even this is enough to spoil your vacation.

Be ready to be charged additionally 20 euros for one person for swimming pool sun-bed.For 2 person this is for 8 days 8 x 40 euros.320 eur is 30% on top of what iwe got as official offer from hotel management.After 15 years of active hotelling all over the world in 5 star groups this is the first time experince 😂😂 . Welcome to Serbia and hotel Grand.Management improvising and having no experience is obvious.

Very disappointing experience this time. The standard room is very small, you can't turn around, there is no place for suitcases, it's a shame that such a room is rented at all , some light bulbs don't work, the coffee from the machine smells and is not suitable for drinking, vanity kit boxes empty, open boxes of tea tablets for the coffee and tea machine, only 2 towels per person in the room. In the evening, at the Garden restaurant, this time the atmosphere was scaring. Full of people from the criminal milieu with their own security, and of course there are also people from the political milieu. If, like me, you happen to go to the toilet while one of their girls is in the toilet, you will have the very unpleasant experience of being looked at as a threat and wondering what you are doing in this hotel with this kind of people. This hotel has become the epitome of a world to be avoided (I did not want to accept this but after these 3 days this is unfortenately treu). We saw lots of ugly and deplorable events in these three days. The outdoor pool is cold this year (we've been here 5-6 times since New Year's and has been cold every time) and you can only swim in it, not rest and relax like in previous years. On the other hand, staff has improved significantly and are very polite. Spa massages are relly good and I recommend sports massage after skiing. Go for deluxe rooms and apartments which are really nice, avoid at all cost standard rooms. One more thing I do not like this year is that maids start coming into the room around 09:30 and also the guy checking the minibar and on the chek out day which should be till 11:00, they enter from 09:30 with the remark Oh you haven’t still left. I thought that this was a mistake first time, but after 5-6 visits, I can say that this is policy of the hotel and they should change this since it is not pleasant at all.

A clear improvement at the Grand Hotel & Spa in Kopaonik. I have been staying there on average 2 weeks per year since 2017. This year (2023) we were there already 2 weeks. The hotel in general has undergone a major refurbishment. Everything has improved significantly. The facilities, the food, the bar, the entertainment (music every evening), the reservation process, the attitude of the staff, the Buffet restaurant, the À la carte Restaurant etc…. The Hotel is now at the best standard for a 4 star Hotel in Europe. One small comment: the wifi can be weak in some bedrooms and prices have not decreased… but overall, congrats to the new Management.

A fantastic hotel and amazing staff. It was our first time at Kopaonik and we had a amazing weekend together with family and friends. The room’s are big and luxurious. We had all meals at the hotel and we were very satisfied with the food and service.
