Rooms are big and clean. Great lovation and walking options when the weather is good. Very good breakfast. Poor what is promoted as "Children's indoor adventure area". This is in fact just a small room with games for small kids and some books. Untidy and messy when we were there. A table football game without a ball (could not be found), A pool table and a darts game against payment

Arrived late afternoon in sweltering heat, looking forward to a cool shower and a fresh bed. Unfortunately, we were given room 106 located in an outbuilding 5 minutes walk from the main building. First impressions were not good as we passed a large dirty laundry cage situated at the beginning of a very badly marked/scuffed corridor towards a door which looked like an entrance to a cellar, badly in need of paint. My husband opened the door and pushed me backwards as the heat was unbearable. Outside was approximately 25 degrees but inside was at least 40 degrees with the window open. The room was very small, comparable with a budget hostel. The bathroom was tiny but clean. No facilities for tea/coffee, no comfy seating area, no cosmetic articles… We went back to the reception and as I explained about the heat in the room and the fact that we could not enter the room to use it. The receptionist answered sarcastically that I should open the window!!! This unleashed the beast in me as I wanted a normal hotel room that I could use. Eventually, we were given a standard double room which was basic but comfortable . There was no possibility to order food other than call for external pizza or select from turkey breast or fish which was lukewarm on the buffet style restaurant, no chips or potatoes, the only „warm „ option was rice. Fruit and vegetables available. Understandably, we could not take the dog to the restaurant however, we could take food from the buffet to the bar. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this hotel. We paid extra for our tiny dog and were offered substandard accommodation. I want to relax on holiday, I don’t want to quarrel with a receptionist to get what I paid for. Please note that this is not 4 stars according to the international classification.

A peaceful place, cleaned rooms and one of best breakfast you may experience. I had a minor issue and they promptly react to resolve the problem. No problem for parking (free). If we want to find something to improve is a wider menu for dinner.

Auch wenn man dem Hotel an manchen Stellen sein Alter ansieht, gab es für uns nichts zu beanstanden. Die Zimmer waren zweckmäßig, sauber und hatten eine tolle Aussicht. Die Anlage verfügt über zahlreiche Parkplätze, so dass wir keine Probleme hatten, das Auto stehen zu lassen. Sehr gut fanden wir das Restaurant. Das Geld war abends gut ins Buffet investiert. Es war reichlich Auswahl. Das Essen war lecker und frisch. Auch das Frühstücksbuffet war abwechslungsreich und schmackhaft. Der Service insgesamt war aufmerksam und sehr gut. Von meiner Seite gibt es eine klare Empfehlung.

Angenehme Atmosphäre, Frühstück reichhaltig und lecker, Abendessen zwar nicht die größte Auswahl, aber auch lecker. Wir waren im Appartement 300. Die Raumaufteilung ist gewöhnungsbedürftig, da der Flur quasi verschwendeter Platz ist, wo man sich nicht aufhält. Die Türen zu Schlaf- und Kinderzimmer hätten wir gern offen gelassen, aber es waren sehr schwere Türen, die quasi automatisch zufallen. Die Terrasse war niedlich klein, aber die Möbel etwas heruntergekommen und schmutzig, und auch das Gras hätte seit Wochen gemäht werden können. Ein Plus für die Rollos! Gerade wer kleine Kinder hat, ist dankbar dafür, statt "nur" Vorhängen... Service an Rezeption und im Restaurant sehr freundlich. Es gibt auch ein kleines Spielzimmer im Aufenthaltsbereich. Im Restaurant gibt es auch einen kleinen Kinder-Spielbereich, der uns sehr gelegen kam. Bis auf Kleinigkeiten alles okay bis gut, ich denke Preis-Leistung stimmen. Um zu Fuß runter an den Rhein bzw. die Altstadt zu kommen, ist es (gerade mit Kindern) aber zu weit. Auch der Weg zur Drachenfelsbahn muss mit dem Auto gemacht werden - war für uns aber kein Problem.
