Lemon Beach Resort

I have visited the Lemon Beach Resort four times. I was always impressed by the location, the care for guests, the cleanliness of the room and the excellent selection of food. We always visited Cape Coast Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The treetop trail in Kakum is not only an adrenaline experience but also an opportunity to see nature in Ghana.

Lemon Beach Resort is a true paradise—beautiful, clean, and perfectly located with breathtaking views. The resort’s restaurant is offering delicious, fresh food that will leave you coming back for more. The owner is incredibly attentive, always ready with helpful recommendations for activities and excursions, and can even arrange trips to explore the area. The staff adds to the experience—Prince welcomes you with a warm, genuine smile every day, Richie makes the best drinks you’ll ever taste, and Black’s playful attempts at dancing bring plenty of laughter. If you are looking for a highlight of your trip, look no further. It’s a welcoming, fun, and relaxing place to stay, making it an unforgettable experience!

Hotel was very nice and clean , lot of options for the food all I try was delicious, friendly and helpful staff, lot of activities you can manage there I really enjoy a massage there , swimming pool had good temperature towels on the pool , would like come again soon

The resort's lo action is very close to the Castles. I stayed in the African huts which was an cozy and exotic experience. It was very comfortable. The service was attentive. I really appreciate Black for keeping us entertained. We enjoyed sip and paint with Gideon. These two workers made my group comfortable and ensured we had a good experience. The resort should be given five stars but BEWARE. We got picked up from TKD airport from George, it was 4 of us. He picked us up in a small car, that was uncomfortable. No air, we had to ride 2 hrs with suitcases on our lap and he complained about the price we were given and said we should have paid more. He also took a dirt bumpy road the whole trip. When we got to the resort, one of the passengers said we were in the car like sardines. One of the staff told George. To my surprise he stormed up to me in the middle of the restaurant with his eyes bulging and fist in my face. He yelled, " you said that you were packed like sardines!". I was horrified. He acted like he was going to fight me. All during the visit he stared my group down every time he saw us. When we requested rides, the staff was trying to make me go through George and giving overpriced prices. I wouldn't have rode again with George if he offered a free ride. Another guest gave us a taxi number which we went around with half the price George offered. I am a 61 year old female with a disability. For a man to attack me like that was inexcusable. My advice use the resort but use local transportation. Taxi and Uber is cheaper anyway.

The hotel was clean. Staff was welcoming, nice, friendly and accommodating. When we arrived, staff was informative and the first thing they did was gave us an orientation which was excellent in my book. Shout out to Sammie, one of the Managers…he was very nice , friendly and professional Shout out to Black who saw me struggling with my bags when I was leaving and offered to help me without hesitation even though that wasn’t his job. He worked in the restaurant where he was a really great , courteous, professional making sure we were okay at all times while dining. Even when I asked him a hundred questions about the menu, he never lost his patience. Now the reason for my four star rating……. George the owners father is in charge of Transportation. He is the rudest, most disrespectful person I have ever met in my life. He came in the restaurant while we were dining and screamed at the top of his voice at my family member in front of other guests because she voiced her opinion that he came to pick us up from the airport in a car built for two people and we were a party of four. We were stuffed in there like sardines. And that is the God’s honest truth. He will be the cause of loss of business due to his unprofessional, disgusting, demeaning attitude. Then he went so far as to tell other drivers to charge us three times the price to go back to the airport. Bad business practice. Aside from George I loved the outside rooms and I loved the vibe of the hotel. It was worth the trip from the USA.

Pros: - Very peaceful. - Beautiful huts/rooms with ensuite. The bed was comfy and the rooms cool. - Pool was well-kept and seemed clean. - Food and breakfast was good. Cons: - Food service was slow but that might be a general thing in Ghana as we noticed this was common in hotels and restaurants. - It is quite a drive from major towns so ensure you have what you need with you already. - No gym or exercise space.

Great atmosphere, amazing service attitude, beautiful views and safe environment. I highly recommend the hotel due to its location and comfort. The rooms are meticulously cleaned and the evening entertainment is definitely worth it!!

Very nice quiet romantic spot in the heart of Africa. The impression is accentuated by sound of ocean from gentle simmering to dramatic drumming of wawes on the rocks. Resort is just at the edge of ocen so clima is very pleasant with gentle breeze with smell of ocean and fresh african vegetation.

I absolutelly loved Lemon beach resort. It is a family hotel, nice atmosphere, nice programs in the evenings, during the day we enjoyed walks on the beach and swimming in their beautiful pool. It is our second time visiting Lemon and we also met very nice people here. I have been able to work here as well as enjoy! The staff is well trained and the owners are very lovely people who care about people needs. You will never make mistake of going to Lemon, I have been travelling the world but this is the best resort on this earth. It is clean, the staff is friendly, they did everything they saw on our eyes. We enjoyed massage, laundery, romantic dinner on the coast, well I have no words..Higly recommended, coming back next year!!!
