Pench Jungle Camp

We were a group of 17 celebrating a close friend’s 50th birthday, and our experience at Pench Jungle Camp was simply wonderful. A big thank you to Raghubir ji and Monthung, who made sure every detail was taken care of with so much warmth and patience. We had a few unusual requests like turning the bonfire pit into a pool of rose petals and candles because it was too hot for a real fire and they made it happen beautifully, without hesitation. Each night felt different and well thought out: soft lights by the pool, lovely music, and a peaceful lawn setup under the stars. Special mention to Hridaynath for putting up all the fairy lights that made the place glow. The food was fresh, homely, and always satisfying. From tender mutton and freshly baked cookies to breakfasts with idli, chole, parathas, and eggs made just the way you like them. The rabri and gulab jamuns at dinner were a real treat. Shiv and Avdhesh kept everyone’s spirits up, quite literally, with great cocktails and friendly service. The whole staff was attentive and kind, always around but never overbearing.

This was my second visit to Pench Jungle Camp, and I truly wish I could say it was as memorable as the first. Last year, I had an amazing experience—thanks to the personalized hospitality and the hands-on involvement of the manager, ***** with fantastic food and cleanliness that made us feel genuinely welcomed. That visit left a lasting impression and brought me back here again. However, this time, the experience has been nothing short of a disaster. The housekeeping has been completely unacceptable—rooms were not cleaned properly, basic amenities were missing or had to be asked for multiple times, and even after repeated follow-ups, the staff showed sheer negligence. It’s shocking to see such a steep drop in standards. What made matters worse was the complete lack of response and involvement from the current manager. Despite raising concerns, there was no effort made to rectify the issues or even acknowledge them. The warmth and proactive care we experienced during our previous visit were nowhere to be found this time. I would like to directly address the owners and senior management—you have an outstanding property, an absolute gem tucked in the wild. But sadly, your operations team is failing miserably to maintain it. A place this beautiful deserves a team that can match its potential and protect its reputation. It’s disheartening to write this, especially with fond memories of my first visit, but the mismanagement this time has truly ruined the experience. Please take urgent steps to fix this before it becomes a pattern that drives loyal guests away.

Great experience at Pench Jungle Camp. Thank you to all the staff for making my stay a memorable one. Built great relationship with them, very friendly and supportive throughout. Planning to visit very soon. Rooms are fabulous, food is good, great ambience and absolutely value for money.

PJC is convenient close to Pench Tiger Reserve(PTR), Turia gate to enter the core. A 5 min. drive. Rooms are top nodge. All you which for is available including fridge and bottles of clean water. Atmosphere is very relaxed at PJC including leisure walks in garden. In combination with location, service, food at restaurant and the extra mile staff is willing to take, PJC is a real value for money. Outstanding, after 22 years of experience at PTR, are the naturalists. All very knowledgable. They add something special in explaining nature of central india. Walking safari is possible at PJC which is a true bonus. Service in general is extreemly good, special to mention is restaurant managment. They represent the perfect hosts you hope for when making a booking. Over all PJC is your best choice for safari and stay in PTR.

We were a group of 15, including a family member in a wheelchair, and the resort went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Lovely rooms, delicious food, and engaging evening activities like jungle walks and wildlife talks added so much value. A highlight was the surprise outdoor candlelight dinner with moon gazing—truly magical! Huge thanks to Sougato for his knowledgeable and engaging safari guidance, and to Mr. Patil for his patient support and arranging a special jeep for accessibility. Well situated, a large property with a welcoming garden that hosts High tea everyday. The room was spacious, comfortable with dome type ceiling that resembles a camp heaven! The toilet is large and overall the rooms are very well maintained. Complimentary water is provided daily. Food wise, local and international cuisine buffet style is served daily. Very delicious! Above all, the service is exceptional all round. Particular mention to Seema who is also a naturalist. She gave us a tour and explained the safari process and protocol. Her attention to detail was fantastic. Thank you Pench Jungle Camp for a memorable stay. We will be back!
