Big Fish Resort Koh Tao

We stayed in a room with two beds set together, which had a nice view, but we encountered several issues during our stay. There was a lot of sand on the floor and balcony, and we found the number of electricity plugs to be limited, making it inconvenient. Additionally, for one night, we had no water to shower in the bathroom, which was quite disappointing. Although we didn’t get a chance to try the restaurant, the highlight of our stay was the area’s proximity to the beach, making it a great location for beach lovers. Overall, while there were some challenges, the view and location were definitely positives.

The worst experience of all my travels in Thaïland and all around the world. The people at the reception are very rude and not helpful at all. The didn´t get the room we booked. Dated room and bathroom (very small). Nothing to hang clothes on. The woman at the reception refused to change room and invited us to leave and go somewhere else. She told us to try to get hare money back. She pretends that the hotel was full even though rooms were free. So she lied to us. It´s unfortunate because the location at beach is beautiful.

We came for lunch as we knew the restaurant from our last trip a fee years ago. The food was great as always, the service friendly until the served me a completely warm beer and refused to change or refund. Not so nice, but for the food and the location we‘d come back.

Premessa: avevo la camera fronte mare chiamata BF1 Freedom. Devo dire che la posizione dell'albergo, direi in centro alla baia di Chalok è perfetta. Pace e tranquillità, a parte le solite barche. Hotel spartano ( alcune camere hanno solo ventilatore e sono senza acqua calda) ma alla fine ti innamori. La mia camera era praticamente fronte mare al piano terra, quindi mi sdraiavo sul lettone di legno massiccio e mi godevo il mare. Dormivo con lo sciabordio delle onde. Camera piccola occupata da un letto matrimoniale enorme con una piccola camera con letto singolo. ero armadi per riporre la roba. Veramente angusta, come il bagno. Insomma se non fosse stato per il grande patio vista mare avrei dato un punto in meno. In ogni caso, avevo in camera sia condizionatore che ventilatore. Purtroppo ti forniscono solo asciugamano da doccia e non asciugamani piccoli. Personale cortese e disponibile. Due parole sulla baia: bella è bella, per chi ha bambini piccoli va anche bene...ma se volete fare snorkeling o nuotare, sappiate che è pesantemente soggetta alle maree. Ha un bellissimo riff ma è quasi impossibile da raggiungere a nuoto causa di tratti con fondali bassi con ricci enormi ed acque torbide. Io ho dovuto noleggiare un kayak. Occhio quando prenotate, specie su siti come agoda o booking: leggete bene tutto perché, come ho detto, esistono camere molto economiche dove non avete la doccia con acqua calda ed avete solo il ventilatore e non il condizionatore.
