Hoteles ideales para familias en Ko Samui

Estuvimos alojados casi 2 meses en Melia Koh Samui. Desde nuestra llegada hasta el último minuto todo fue perfecto. Nos recibieron Pow y Bella , siempre presentes y atentos a nuestros deseos, me organizaron una cena de cumpleaños en la playa , fue inolvidable. El lugar tranquilo, la playa y el mar impecables , nuestra boat suite encantadora. El housekeeping , limpieza y cuidado de la suite siempre puntual y perfecto. L enorme piscina… en fin las instalaciones en general, muy muy bonitas. Una mención especial a la gastronomía, desde el desayuno hasta la cena , nunca tuvimos ni un solo bocado que no fuera óptimo. La carta super variada ,el producto excelente y todas las recetas están hechas a la perfección. Lo spa Yhin igual de perfecto, nuestras terapeutas, Ma May y Mam, increíbles profesionales. Otra nota excepcional y un agradecimiento especial a todo l equipo de F&B , Aleng , Eye,Pan, Zackie, Pixel , Yaco y todos los demás, que nos han sonreído cada momento del día durante esta larga estancia. Y por último, un “gracias” especial a Baw , incansable, disponible y siempre alegre!! GRACIAS A TOD@S… no es un adiós , solo un hasta pronto ♥️ B5 😉

El centro de la ciudad está a 100 Baht por tuk tuk. Alquilamos una motocicleta del hotel que era muy nuevo y ya no teníamos que pagar por un taxi. El restaurante del hotel ofrece una variedad de comidas y vistas a una hermosa piscina con hermosa ubicación. Definitivamente volveré aquí y lo recomendaría sin hesitar. We have just returned home from a fantastic stay at the Passage on Samui. The hotel and Staff are truly excellent and do everything to make sure that your stay is as perfect as possible. All Staff on the hotel was fantastic but Cat and Ben in the restaurant was just further fantastic – catering to all our needs and just very pleasant company to be around and enjoy some small talk with. We stayed in a 2 bedroom ”villa” with a private pool and that was simply just perfect for our family vacation, we had a small ”kitchen” / lounge area besides the 2 bedrooms, where the kids often had dinner from room service. The private pool is not very large, but it was very easy and nice for the kids to quickly jump into the pool and when we wanted more the hotel offered 3 large pools on the hotel grounds. The hotel is right on the beach and right in front of the hotel the beach is clear of rocks and coral. - There are corals to both sides of the hotel and further out as well, which makes this beach very protected. When we stayed at the hotel the tide was out most of the day, which made the beach very shallow and not good for swimming, so for beach swimming we had to get up and complete this in the mornings. Everything about this hotel we will highly recommend, both for families with kids, but also for adults seeking a nice, relaxed vacation - there are plenty of room for both at the same time. The hotel is a bit away from everything else, so some kind of private transportation is highly recommended.

I nearly changed my holiday because of the negative reviews that i read here, however i was so pleased i didn't and went with my gut instinct. I have just returned from the most wonderful relaxing holiday at the Mai Samui beach resort. The hotel has been built in a traditional Thai style, on a quiet peninsular of Samui. So if you are looking for a glossy high rise concrete soulless block with entertainment and plenty of bars surrounding you, then this is not the place for you. There are a few local restaurants and a coffee shop only a few minutes walk away. With lively Bophut, with the Fisherman's market and Nathon are only a short taxi ride away (or free bus from hotel every day). The hotel has a variety of rooms to stay in, a couple of restaurants and a great beach bar with an extensive cocktail menu. The staff are all amazing, friendly and helpful. The hotel is currently having a few renovations but so has everyone else. Hotels and bars across the world have all suffered being locked down for several years due to Covid 19, and have only just re-opened, so yes they all need to do a bit of catch up. The renovations did not impact us in any way, and did not spoil our holiday one bit. I chose not to do all inclusive and opted for breakfast only. There was plenty of choice every morning. The egg chef was always busy with everyone's individual orders. One very small negative is the lack gluten free options or milk alternatives, but we worked around it. The beach is not your usual tropical lounging sandy spot. This is a very shallow tidal bay with some rocks and corals. It is great for a low tide walk, but not swimming. To make up for this the hotel has a couple of large well thought out swimming pools. and there is a raised sandy area to the front of the beach with plenty of sunbeds and chairs to lounge on. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel if you prefer a quite resort but with easy access to livelier towns. If i have the chance i would definitely come back again. Un hotel muy rentable. La ubicación es perfecta. La mejor playa de Chaweng Beach está justo en la puerta. No es suficiente caminar descalzo. Puedes caminar desde el hotel hasta la biblioteca sin ningún rasguño. el popular Ark Bar también está cerca del centro comercial Festival está a solo 5 minutos a pie, muy cerca, y también hay un restaurante Onion barato y delicioso al lado. El desayuno era suntuoso y básicamente nada era igual después de estar dos días. Los sillones están cubiertos de enredaderas y palmeras, y hay una brisa fresca. Muchas ardillas saltan en los árboles y también se escuchan varios dulces cantos de pájaros. Hay un spa al aire libre cerca de la playa. muy lindo. El único inconveniente es que las instalaciones son más antiguas y las casas de playa generalmente están más de moda, pero solo tienen una tarjeta de acceso, por lo que no pueden encender el aire acondicionado al salir de la habitación. Pero la relación precio/rendimiento ya es muy alta.

Está a unos diez minutos a pie del centro comercial Central. El desayuno es bastante rico, tanto occidental como tailandés. Vale la pena levant**** temprano para ver el amanecer en la playa de Chaweng. El gimnasio del hotel es relativamente pequeño. Si necesitas alquilar una moto, te recomiendo la primera tienda de motos a la derecha del hotel. Los coches son muy nuevos. Si los alquilas por un tiempo prolongado, puedes negociar por 250 baht/. día.Necesita presionar su pasaporte o licencia de conducir.

La ubicación del hotel es buena. Está en la playa de Xuanmeng. Hay un restaurante chino en la puerta, que es conveniente para comer. El mayor problema del hotel es que está en mal estado, con árboles crecidos y maleza, y los canales que se construyeron se han secado. Hay tantos mosquitos que pueden morir picando en la habitación. Además, el servicio realmente no es bueno. Terminé de beber las bolsitas de té el primer día y no las reponía en los días siguientes. Además, las toallas de baño y toallas cada vez se dan menos o no se dan. Es molesto tener que llamar a la recepción cada vez. Además, la cama y la colcha son demasiado diferentes a las de otros hoteles de cinco estrellas. Si no es por la comodidad de ir al mar, recomiendo encarecidamente no alojarse aquí.

We had an overall great experience at this resort. Perhaps it has been a while since the room is occupied so quite a number of mosquitoes were in the room. Thanks to the very efficient staff, they managed it and we don’t have the problem for as long as we stayed in. Then it is the wifi. The staff actually put the router into the room on the second day. Again, problem solved. Great view with the beach over breakfast. Great pool. Comfy bed and pillows. Scooter rental service - perhaps we have paid a bit more than outside but then the quality of the scooter is very good as it is brand new. Thanks to the staff. All of the smiley faces go to the staff.

I booked Rocky’s mainly because it was “starred” in Lonely Planet, and the price did not feel outrageous for what appeared to be a fine looking and well-reviewed resort. Somewhere to enjoy for a few days at the end of a long work trip in Asia. Initial doubts over it not being directly adjacent to the main Lamai beach were quickly banished. In fact, after my one visit to Lamai beach, the southern end of which is about a 15 minute walk from Rocky’s, I was only too pleased to return to the peace and tranquillity of the hotel. I stayed in one of the rooms overlooking the garden pool. The room was amazing: huge, beautifully appointed with great balcony/terrace, and a huge bathroom. Within 30 seconds you are swimming in the garden pool, or within a leisurely couple of minutes, can be swimming in the sea or the hotel pool next the beach. The beach itself is small, yes, but it’s right next the hotel pool, and feels safer and less steeply-shelving than nearby Lamai, and is pretty much for the exclusive use of Rocky’s residents. There is a great beach-bar by the pool and the whole place feels just the right size. There is an old offshore reef you can kayak to at low tide, and have a swim off there. The water is a little clearer and stays waist to chest deep for some way. But if you go out there, make sure you wear some sort of footwear as the coral is sharp at that spot. The headland makes the cove calmer during higher winds than at Lamai. The water at all the beaches the week I was there was not so clear but there were a lot of storms so that tends to churn things up a bit. Brilliant, attentive and helpful staff throughout. Food was excellent, even if some dishes and drinks seem a little overpriced. The setting, location and high quality accommodation more than compensated. Plus, you could order food up to quite late, and always someone at the bar to serve you a drink well into the night. For a change of dining scene there are a number of really good restaurants very nearby. Scooter hire is pricier than in town (relatively speaking) but there’s a certain peace of mind knowing you’re booking through the hotel. Even with its Lonely Planet approval, Rocky’s is an understated gem of a hotel/resort on this island.

Desayuno: Es un delicioso estilo buffet con variedad para elegir. Piscina: Junto a la playa, hay muchas piscinas, incluidas piscinas para adultos, piscinas para niños o se puede nadar en el mar. Otros: - Si quieres alquilar un coche para viajar por Koh Samui. Póngase en contacto con el mostrador de viajes en el frente, conveniente. - El hotel exige un depósito de 1.500 baht, que puede pagarse en efectivo o con tarjeta de crédito.
