Fui al hotel por una noche. Las habitaciones son espaciosas y limpias, pero el problema principal de este hotel es que la mayoría de las habitaciones, a excepción de las que dan a la playa, que están en renovación, no están en absoluto aisladas. Desde la habitación y la minipiscina se puede ver al personal, los clientes, los perros, los gatos, etc. pasar por allí. Lamentablemente, no hay una verdadera playa frente al mar. La puesta de sol es hermosa. Definitivamente, no vale la pena el precio. Creo que hay mejor relación calidad-precio en Koh Phangan. También fui al spa ”l'Occitane” y creo que es una broma. La habitación es pequeña y solo venden algunos productos de Occitane. Eso fue sorprendente...

El hotel es sencillamente impresionante. Nuestra habitación tenía vistas al mar, a través de palmeras, pero eso no le restó encanto al ambiente. Las habitaciones están limpias y el personal es muy amable y atento. Los traslados tenían un precio razonable, aunque estaban un poco deteriorados después de la fiesta de la Luna Llena. El hotel se encargó de todo, desde llevarnos al muelle hasta organizar nuestro traslado a Koh Tao en ferry. No tuvimos que lidiar con operadores turísticos. Los menús del restaurante y el bar tienen precios muy razonables. El desayuno está incluido, es a la carta y ofrece opciones europeas y asiáticas. Hay un bar con cómodas tumbonas cerca, con vistas fantásticas. La playa es de arena blanca, incluso con la marea baja. Este hotel se merece una calificación de 4 estrellas. Las habitaciones tienen zonas designadas y bolsas de playa. La limpieza es impecable y las toallas se cambian a diario. Hay un 7-Eleven a tan solo 5 minutos a pie. En las inmediaciones hay alquiler de bicicletas, cafeterías y una tienda de ropa con otros artículos básicos. A solo 15 minutos en coche, hay un restaurante con vistas, un borscht increíble, un salo (salo) y una banya con baño de hielo. Sin estrés, todo para satisfacer incluso a los paladares más exigentes. Tanto en la zona como en el hotel. Sin duda volveremos. Estamos muy agradecidos por unas vacaciones fantásticas ✌️👍

We loved the location, near to the beautiful Haad Rin beach, the pool and being next to the sea. Free use of the kayaks and stand up paddle boards was a plus. They also help to organise a shared taxi to the pier for 200 baht which was very convenient. Unfortunately, we found the services lacking. We were told at check in, if we wanted the rooms cleaned to inform reception. We asked for the bins to be emptied but it never happened. The breakfast was fine, option of eggs, a different cooked option each day (pad se ew, rice and pasta during our stay), salad, fruit and mainly white bread (the final day there was brown bread). We would have rathered a Thai option each day. The main problem we encountered was the bar next to us having a party with loud, thumping music until 4am. This is not for the faint hearted, if you get a room beside the pool, it literally vibrates the room. Even earplugs wouldn't cover it. Further, the people at the party were using the pool, this was during the early hours also. At 2am, I complained to the manager and he let us move to a quieter room to sleep. This was a 'premium' room, further from the beach, it smelt of damp and sewage. But with little choice to get sleep before our ferry the next day we felt it was our only option.

Hotel muy correcto por la categoría que tiene. Familiar y acogedor. A dos minutos de la playa, estrecha, con poco espacio. A 15 minutos del centro de Thong Sala. Hay supermercados, tiendas, restaurantes y centros de masaje cerca

”Spectacular views, shame about everything else” Venus on Koh Phangan is the definition of a mixed bag—and unfortunately, the negatives outweigh the positives here. Let's start with what works: the view is absolutely stunning. Perched overlooking the water, it's genuinely breathtaking and exactly what you'd hope for when booking an island getaway. If you're someone who can sit on a balcony and stare at the sea for hours, you'll get that here. The problem is you'll have to stare at it from a very tired room. The accommodation is old and frankly, dying for a renovation. Everything feels dated and worn—furniture, fittings, decor—like stepping back in time but not in a charming way. It's functional at best. The location compounds the issues. It's terrible—nothing around at all, and almost inaccessible by foot. You'll absolutely need your own transportation (scooter or taxi) just to get to a restaurant or convenience store. If you're without wheels, you're stranded. Overall, Venus trades entirely on its view, but neglects everything else. If you prioritize scenery above all and have your own transport, maybe. Otherwise, look for somewhere that puts equal effort into the actual accommodation and location.

Tras cabañitas están muy bien y si las pide con aire acondicionado mucho mejor. Cosas que me han gustado son la ubicación (para mis necesidades) y el personal, todo muy fácil y cómodo. El aire acondicionado funciona bien y silencioso. Cosas que no me gustaron fueron que en vez de champú y gel te dan una pastilla de jabón. Lo siguiente es que al estar tan cerca de la playa, si la marea sube mucho esto afectará al desagüe de la ducha con lo cual parecerá que está bloqueada pero no lo está. Es simplemente que no puede desaguar. Por lo demás todo muy bien y si vuelvo volvería a alquilar sin dudas

Un hotel encantador con una cama grande y cómoda, televisión en la habitación y ducha con agua caliente. La piscina era pequeña, pero perfecta. A 10 minutos a pie de la calle principal, la playa y el muelle. Volvería a alojarme aquí.

Disappointing experience Unfortunately, my experience with this property was quite disappointing, mainly because of the communication and how the situation was handled. I contacted the property around 4:38 PM to let them know that I was on my way. I was traveling alone, it was my first time in the area, and it was already getting dark. I was waiting for clear information about the check-in process, but I didn’t receive a response until around 6 PM. By that time, I was already worried about arriving somewhere unfamiliar without knowing what to do. Because I was concerned about being left without a place to stay, I booked another accommodation. I then tried to cancel my original booking and request a refund, but the cancellation was not accepted. I also tried to modify the booking, but that was rejected as well. I even called the property on the 23rd, and although the call was answered, there was no proper communication. Since the booking was still valid until the 25th and I had already paid for it, I decided to use the booking rather than simply waste my money. I’m not someone who can just throw away money like it means nothing. What disappointed me even more was being blamed afterward and being told that I should have informed the property that I decided to stay. From my perspective, I had already tried multiple ways to resolve the situation—messaging, calling, cancelling, and modifying the booking. I was simply trying to figure out what to do with a booking that I had already paid for and that was still valid. I understand that the property also needs to manage its bookings and prepare for guests, and I understand why the situation may have been frustrating for them. However, I also believe communication needs to work both ways. A faster and clearer response could have prevented the entire situation. I’m leaving this review because I hope the property can improve its communication, provide clearer check-in instructions, and handle misunderstandings with guests in a more professional and understanding way.

The resort was absolutely lovely. The private beach, when the tide was out, was amazing as well as the pool. The breakfast was simple but really nice. Friendly service. I would definitely stay here again.

La ubicación del hotel es buena, hay tiendas, salones de masajes y cafeterías cerca, pero está lejos de la acción principal, donde tiene lugar la Full Moon Party, a casi una hora en bicicleta. El hotel en sí es viejo, cansado, el olor en las habitaciones no es muy agradable, a humedad, un poco sucio, se ve mejor en la foto. Intentaron ponernos en una habitación con vistas a la pared con camas individuales, aunque en la reserva se especificaba cama de matrimonio. Después de mucho discutir, finalmente nos trasladaron a una habitación de categoría reservada. ¡No elegiría este hotel por segunda vez!
