Mook Montra Resort Sea Front

We stayed at this lovely resort for 2 nights and we had the Sea view tent room. It was quite a big room with clean and bright toilets. The reception was nice to provide shuttle tuk tuk during check in and check out. The room were well equipped and the beds were comfortable, we had enough clean towels. There was hot water supply at the reception. As this was a resort, Wifi is quite erratic and stronger at the reception, but who needs wifi to enjoy the beach vibes?

We had an amazing stay at Mook Montra in Ko Muk. Kritt messaged us on WhatsApp the day we were arriving to see if we needed any help with anything and they helped us organising a longtail from the jetty on the mainland to the island for 600THB. When we arrived on the island we were greeted by the super friendly staff member (I think his name was Go) who drove us to the hotel. He explained where everything was whilst driving us around which was super helpful and he was an absolute champion during our whole stay, always willing to help us if we had any questions. The room itself, we booked the Seaview Cottage, was really nice. Quite spacious, clean and a very comfy bed with aircon. There was a little balcony with a nice bench and a table at the front which was perfect to have your breakfast in the morning or a drink in the afternoon. The property is beautiful with a lot of greenery and all the different cottages. We'd highly recommend Mook Mantra if you're budget is a bit more limited as you'd still get the luxurious vibe for this price. One thing that would've been nice to have in the room is a water kettle to make some tea or coffee in the morning.

Bungalows are nice in garden setting and clean. The outdoor patio chairs are rusted and need replacing, the views around our room are disgusting to say the least and the sad part is that although it's on the harbour no attempt has been made to even put a shower in relaxing area there. No way can you swim here as so dirty. The owner is pleasant but not helpful when I asked for a refund for 1 night as needed to change the room and it wasn't possible. We were asked to pay all in cash on arrival as said they don't take cards which I find strange. No mention of cash only on ***********. Cheap but definitely not cheerful. Road close by and nice little restaurant across the road as well as a bike rental place. We checked out after day one as this does not make for a pleasant relaxing stay

Voyage en janvier 2025, sea view bungalow numéro 3 Les 3 bungalows sea view, vendus au même tarif n'ont pas les mêmes caractéristiques. Sauf une ! les 3 bungalows sont juste devant l'évacuation des eaux usées, non couvert avec des relents puissants. Le seaview numéro 1 et 2 bénéficient d'une vue dégagées, si l'on fait abstraction du premier plan qui est la rigole d'environ 1 mètre de large, délimité par un muret de 50 à 60 cm pour l'évacuation des eaux usées. Le numéro 3 est le dernier coincé contre la clôture métallique qui sépare le ressort de la rue, juste derrière il y a l'endroit où ils font bruler les déchets, dont les plastiques. Le seaview numéro 3, au même tarif que les deux autres, a une vue partielle. La vue étant principalement occulté par le derrière une des tentes qui elles bénéficient d'une vue parfaitement dégagées. Les autres bungalows, sauf le dernier sea view king room (qui est lui aussi au bord de l'évacuation des eaux usées), sont face à face, le long d'une allée arborée et agréable. La location des scooters est 50thb plus cher que n'importe où ailleurs (sans négociation d'aucune sorte) Précision, la réservation a été faite par Agoda, ils ont été prévenu de notre insatisfaction le jour même. Aucun retour à ce jour. Le gérant Mr Kritt a lui aussi été prévenu avant de contacter Agoda, arrangement proposé après une longueeeeeeeeeeeeee conversation, de nous changer d'hébergement la nuit suivante ! Pour le bungalow sea view numéro 1 ! Nous avons décliné, nous n'avions pré-réserver que deux nuits pour voir.... on a vu, aucune intention de rester plus longtemps. Aucune proposition commercial ni dédommagement, aucune reconnaissance des faits non-plus, nous sommes les premiers à nous plaindre ! j'ai des doutes. Nos voisins aux numéro deux ont fait exactement les même critiques sans que nous le sachions. Les points positifs, le resort est bien entretenu. Les bungalows sont biens, la literie est très confortable et l'intérieur est bien agencé même si le ménage laisse à désirer, robinetterie, toilette, portes etc La situation géographique est bonne, même si la "plage" devant le resort n'est pas praticable pour la baignade, c'est agréable. Conclusion, allez y en connaissance de cause. Fiez vous aux photos des internautes et pas forcement à celles du ressort qui ne montre que ce qu'ils veulent bien montrer.
