We had an incredible stay at the Taj Malabar Resort & Spa Kochi. I had originally planned this trip as a family get together to celebrate my dad's retirement. What followed was a trip, that all of us will look back fondly in the future. The front-office staff (especially Mrs Angel, Mrs Jasmine, Mrs Elisabeth and Mr Agarwal) were very welcoming and made us feel at home almost immediately. Throughout the trip, they catered to our every request and made this a very memorable experience. Before staying at the Taj Malabar, I was concerned about the dining options as I follow a strict vegan diet. All of the dining room staff & chefs (especially the executive chef Mr Mayur and the chef Mr Anoop) took special care of me in this regard. When we dined one night at the Pepper restaurant, they even prepared a special Kerala meal which adhered to my dietary choices. I'm only used to condescension and laughter over my dietary choices and this gesture made me feel incredibly happy. My initial fears were definitely unfounded and the vegan food that I had at the Taj rivals any food that I have tasted in the top vegan restaurants in the US. This trip was memorable for a lot of reasons including the Sunset at the Jetty, relaxing at the swimming pool with my father, introducing my parents to a luxurious experience at the Sauna / Jacuzzi and the Steam Room amongst others. However this wouldn't be possible with the genuine warmth and loving nature of all the staff and I would like to convey a special thanks to them for making this a genuinely special trip that I'll never forget.

Very good hotel, clean room and toilet, enough car parking, friendly staff (including staff in car park, roof top pool is very clean and gave enough privacy, and separate staff to provide the towel and instructions. Timing also flexible ( 7. 00 am to 7. 00 pm. Easy check in and check out. Metro station is near by ( mg road, station. Marine drive is also near by. Mall is next toit. Overall it is a good stay with family. Also you can try to book abad atrium in the same campus.

¡Muy peor experiencia!!!! Escribo este comentario sólo una experiencia que se quedó un día en realidad mi plan fue 3 días en el mismo hotel pero es realmente decepcionante de la llegada no hay escoltas para llevar mi equipaje y hay dos chicos en la recepción cuando llego ambos están quedados en la habitación dentro y mirando allí el teléfono, después de llegar me pedí ayuda para llevar mi equipaje simplemente ignorar (nota que sólo pedí ayuda) Después de venir a la habitación AC no funciona en absoluto ni siquiera me mantengo en 3 horas, Cuando yo pregunto yo recepción él me mencionó que el tiempo caliente Sir va a trabajar pronto (tras 3 horas vienen ) Entonces en la noche que pregunto por TV es que hay cualquier canal está trabajando, él sólo se ríe y contesta a mí si quieres ver la TV abierto sólo teléfono inteligente android conectar to TV Seriosamente es realmente me decepciona y no recomiendo para cualquier nuevo entrante en este hotel

Had a pleasant stay. The location is very reachable. Property is well maintained. Food was tasty. A bit more variety can be brought in the menu. Overall, it was a good one.

Im Orion Skywings ist alles sehr sauber und der kleine Sitzplatz vor dem Zimmer gemütlich. Das Personal ist super mega freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir können diese Unterkunft nur empfehlen. Konnten sogar einen Rucksack deponieren, so dass wir für 10 Tage mit einer Royal Enfield den Süden erkunden konnten.

I think it's important to transcend some of the BS I've seen and read regarding the hostel. Firstly, it looks incredible in the images on various booking sites. Not quite so in real life. It all actually looks pretty drab and tired. The room I booked wasn't great (dusty, loads of hair clogged in the basin, gunk over the mirror, dust and dirt on the lightbulbs), and I couldn't even get a warm shower. The AC didn't work. On arrival there was no-one at the desk, just a sign suggesting an online check-in, but I couldn't receive the OTP, therefore couldn't check in, and had to wait 20 minutes for someone to arrive. I didn't complain. I generally don't complain. On reflection, maybe I should have. There are past reviews from 6+ months ago that mention hair/dust/dirt, and replies from Zostel that the issues will be addressed though, cleary, they haven't. Staff - nice, though could be more informative. My experience doesn't quite reflect the experiences that some others mention. I didn't get any advice, friendly chat etc etc Rooms - not great, in my opinion. Dirty. Tired. Location - pretty much everything Fort Kochi has to offer is within walking distance, or a short tuk tuk ride. Rooms: 2/5 | Service: 2/5 | Location: 3/5
