Review: the stay was comfortable & hassle free. The manager of the property, mr. Markose, was welcoming and offered flexible check-in & check-out timings. The location is just right to explore all the famous historical spots. Thanks!

Rooms were spacious, food was so tasty. Above all, markose was an excellent host, he is always on toes to fill every demand. He helped to plan n execute our itinerary, arranged tickets-taxi-everything. Very warm n homely stay. We enjoyed our 2-day stay very much

Clean and hygienic but an issue mosquitoes bites in day and night. Use mosquito spray or a plug-in device that keeps them away.

The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The food was excellent. Mr markus, the director of the hotel was very friendly and hospitable. He has a good knowledge of cochin and gave very good suggestions. He is also a great cook. Overall we had an excellent stay. 5/5. 5. 5. Good value for money

We had 3 nights here: huge bedrooms in an old Dutch house. Very clean and air conditioned - a relief in the March heat. Excellent location within walking distance of the Chinese fishing nets. Good breakfast included. Markose, the host, is a mine of information and very helpful - felt like home. Peter, the tuk tuk driver we used from the Bungalow, is also very knowledgeable and helped us get around to all the sites. One of the friendliest places we stayed on our Kerala trip.

Totally wonderful stay at Ballard Bungalow. It is a beautiful old Dutch Colonial building. Absolutely perfect location .The owner Marcus is charming, helpful , very knowledgeable and all the activities and transport he arranged for us was efficient and the right price. Glorious large heritage type rooms. Good Wi Fi, Air Con, Hot Water, Breakfast. The double rooms have huge beds that can be split to make singles if required. Just great value for money and "location location" . Would not hesitate to book again or recommend to friends.

Absolutely lovely decor. Heritage furniture, beautifully maintained. Staff, specially the manager and chef are warm, welcoming and hospitable. Perfect stay for artists, writers and people seeking peace

It was pleasure to stay at ballard bungalow, a 300 year old but well maintained heritage building. The owner and the staff is polite, co operative and looking after all the requirements of the guests with general cleanliness, provision of facilities and delicious veg or non veg food.

All rooms have elegant decor and are replete with contemporary amenities like satellite TV, internet and telephone. The restaurant of the hotel serves delectable and flavoursome Indo-Portuguese and Continental dishes in a cosy setting. Guests can also treat their taste buds with delicious and hygienically prepared local dishes of Kerala. Seafood prepared using fresh catches from the nearby beaches is a must-have for guests.
