The hotel is lovely as is the island - Koh Mak! The resort is located along an amazingly beautiful private beach and it is clear that the hotel staff invests in the visibility of the beach (cleanliness, etc.), in front of it is Koh Cam Island and there is a paid boat that will take you and bring you back. We stayed at the family resort (couple + 3) and it was excellent! midrashim Spacious and equipped, the location is quiet and within a very short drive you can reach every attraction on the island. The hotel offers to rent a scooter and a club car - we used this service. In the hotel there is a bar on the beach, a nice pool - although the sea is better ;). The hotel offers free snorkels and kayaks. The staff and service are outstanding - going out of their way to please you. The restaurant is average... but there are other options within walking distance and a short drive.

Stumbled on this lovely beach and bar while exploring Koh Mak. Will definitely consider staying here next time. Bar lady spoke excellent English, was very friendly and started happy hour early for us! Place was very clean and water was clear. Best of all they had a generator when the islands power went down for 5 hours unannounced!

We found the beach 2 years ago visiting Koh Mak and wanted to come back. The beach is one of the most beautiful places i have seen in my life after travelling a lot for the last 12 years! The resort is located directly at the beach, clean and beautiful bungalows. We didnt use the pool. Breakfast can be selected from a menu, very good coffee and wonderful, attentive staff. In the evenings, music might be very loud from somewhere but thats okay for me. For me, this place is a paradise and i would definately come back. Thanks for the Makramee, it arrived safely in germany 😀

WARNING THIS IS A FULLMOON PARTY PLACE AND BEACH, This is probably the most difficult review I ever written, because Koh Mak resort is worth at least three stars. Why do I just rate it one? We spent five night after Christmas here. Three nights and days was totally destroyed because of Full moon party’s with really really strong music on the beach until 06,00 in the morning. Those were held at our hotel and neighbourhood resorts. In my opinion the hotel owners choose easy and fast cash when agreed to let them have the party at their places before taken care of guests like family’s and elderly that can afford this hotels in the long run. Our hotel solved it by giving us back money for three nights. But still my vacation was ruined and me and along several more guest will never go back. JUNKIE ISLAND All over the island we meet stoned people, junkies and drunken youth that visited full moon party night time. On the beach there were so mutch litter and even needels. So I think Koh Maak hotel owners are up to desied what kind of destination they would like to be. SO THIS IS A WARNING, ask before you make a reservation at Koh Mak resort and other resorts. Koh Mak resort it self is in many ways good. It’s located beautiful and the staff especially front desk manager and the two men there were great. Hotels restaurant ain’t that good, messy and not any cosy at all. Chose others. The small cafe is nice! The same family runs the neighbourhood resort Sevana. It’s fantastic!!! Cool restaurant, super friendly staff and great food. Thanks for a fantastic new year’s dinner.

We stayed at miss you beach resort for 6 days in March 2023 we booked a room off booking dot com we had never been to this island before so didn’t know what to expect. Firstly the island is very small you can get round on a moped in a couple of hrs and this is with stopping at beaches. The island itself is very quiet if you want total tranquility the waters are clear the sea warm but beware of the sand flies they are evil. The cost of items such as sun cream and bug spray are way more expensive than mainland so take them with you. Restaurants are mainly in one area of the island which luckily was where we stayed you have a pharmacy bike hire mini marts but no money exchange so again take plenty baht with you. Knowing what we know now I’d say three days max four on this island before moving on unless you do want Robinson cruso total chill out lazy days doing very little. One tip we did learn that was very useful is if you do get bitten then cover it in a high alcohol content hand gel it apparently breaks down the protein in the bite and doesn’t leave such a itchy bite but re apply every ten mins until you feel a difference it worked for me. Most taxi seem to be 100 baht so if you don’t have transfer from ferry expect to pay 100 baht. To sum it up lovely island very green very quiet laid back atmosphere a bit more expensive than other islands. Any questions feel free to email me snakefacenick@aol.com

Zuerst einmal: Ganz lieben Dank an das ganze Team! Wir haben 12 Nächte im Koh Mak Resort verbracht und haben jeden Tag genossen. Vom Bungalow, über den Strand und die Küche hat alles gepasst! Wir hoffen, dass wir bald wieder kommen können. Das Resort ist eine Oase der Ruhe und wir haben uns bestens erholt! Besonderen Dank an das Team von der Bar und dem Restaurant!

“Jolie plage” Emplacement idéal sur la plus jolie plage de l’île. Petit déjeuner sans plus. Nous avions un bungalow familial, les lits étaient extrêmement inconfortables, il y avait une odeur forte d’humidité. Les bouteilles d’eau ne sont jamais fraîches car le frigo s’éteint avec l’électricité de la chambre …

เรามาพักเป็นครั้งที่2ค่ะ รอบนี้เจอฝนทุกวันเพราะมาช่วง low season เลยเจอแตนทะเลครั้งแรกของการเที่ยวทะเล รักษารอยดำกันยาวววไปค่ะ อาหารเช้าน้อยไปนิด แต่อาหารที่สั่งทานอร่อยทุกเมนูค่ะ พนักงานน่ารักเหมือนเดิม แต่ห้องพักช่วงเช้าจะมีน้องหนูวิ่งปลุก บนหลังคาทุกเช้าเลยค่ะ ไม่ได้เดินเล่นหน้าหาดตอนเช้า เพราะฝนตกทุกวัน ชอบเกาะหมากเพราะเป็นเกาะ low carbon การท่องเที่ยวของเราไม่ทำร้ายธรรมชาติ ขยะบนเกาะเเทบไม่มีเลย ทุกที่มีการจัดการขยะดีมากๆ ร้านอาหารนอกรีสอร์ทก็อร่อยทุกที่จริงๆค่ะ อยากให้ทุกคนมาพักผ่อน สัมผัสธรรมชาติที่เกาะหมากสักกันครั้งนะคะ （＾ｖ＾）

Un paradis ! Des bungalows très mignons et confortables. Une vue à couper le souffle. Un transfert en speedboat avec arrivée directement à l'hôtel. Personnel charmant. Des activités très chouettes proposées. Restaurant très bon. Petit déjeuner face à la plage un régal. Allez y les yeux fermés ou plutôt bien ouverts.
