Laci's Country Inn

Weekend We really only needed a place to sleep didnt really spend much time there. But was very clean!! The ceiling light bulb had burned out and the TV did not want to turn on. Didnt need it though. After talking to the Manager She reset the TV and it worked fine. She also replaced the light bulb right away. She was very apologetic about both things. But I assured Her that it was ALL good! If You are ever in Knob Noster Missouri and need a place to stay. Laci's is the Place!!

Weird, but nice Average small-town motel experience. There was no body wash in my room, only shampoo. The room is oddly elevated and you had to step up to get into the bathroom. It's also RIGHT by the traintracks so you will get startled by loud train noises at some point. Otherwise, the room was comfortable with a nice bed and a good pieces of furniture, the staff were lovely and check-in was as smooth as can be. A little pricey compared to nicer chain hotels in Warrensburg, but not a bad option at all.

Its cozy and very convenient! The manager is always great and very helpful.

We stayed here for the Wings over Whiteman airshow. The room was clean, and comfortable. We really enjoyed the contactless entry. Code was emailed to us, got there and entered the code and in we went. The only real problem we had was getting into the parking lot as the street right beside the hotel was blocked. We drove over to the Mexican place across the street for some great food. We would stay here anytime we are in the area.

I'm sorry but you shouldn't stay here. I don't intend this to sound mean-spirited or disgruntled because I know this is someone's business. However.... please. Do not stay here. The vibes are bad. Several days before we were to arrive, we received a text message containing a numerical code to be used on the room's keypad door - totally fine. On arrival, I entered the lobby to check in, and it is empty save for a vending machine and an ATM. There is no front desk, no chairs, nothing. There was a lady that popped out of kind of a half door to greet me and tell me to use the door keypad. She did not ask for my name or ID. On entry to the room, I noticed that the door was loose/wobbly, even when shut. The bed appeared clean and freshly made, but when we pulled back the blanket, sheets were stained. The bathroom sink and shower were spotless with clean, folded towels. However. The 'chair' in the room appeared to be a white pleather corner piece of a sectional sofa. The desk is particleboard with raw edges. The TV is there, as advertised, but we never turned it on. There was a small step up between room and bathroom, which seemed to have electrical tape on it. Bare floor, bare walls. The window AC unit appeared to be lined or partially wrapped in aluminum foil. The windows were covered not with curtains, but with immovable shades. There were tufts of carpet stuck to the edges of the floor/wall where I guess the carpet had been pulled out. To me, it looked like cosmetic updates had been made to a sketchy foundation. The website photos do not in any way match what you are walking into. I'd like to close this by saying that I am a cheap traveler, often sticking to motels with numbers in the name, so this isn't coming from a place of expecting a 4-star place with breakfast. I truly felt unsafe in this motel and I cannot in good faith suggest that anyone stay here. If it's all you can afford, please make sure you have a way to at least jam the door to protect yourself.
