Der Klostertalerhof

Excellent 2 night stay. As I had to do some office work from 2 am -11am due to time zone, they provided me with an extra room. Very grateful. Highly recommended

What an absolute gem of a hotel from start to finish. The hotel is welcoming, cosy, comfortable, warm, has very friendly and helpful staff and is a very short bus journey to the lovely Sonnenkopf ski area, or about 25 minutes on 2 buses to Lech or Zurs. The bus stop is right outside going either way and they run frequently. Make sure you take your guest card from the hotel if you plan on going to Lech or Zurs otherwise you’ll have to pay on the second bus. We actually got off at Langen station in the morning to ensure we got a seat on the bus, as it picks up there before Stuben.. We used the Arlberg Express company for our transfer from Zurich airport which was seamless. We stayed half board and the food, in particular the evening meals, was just outstanding. We had a choice of several starters, main courses and desserts all week, plus an amazing meat fondue evening one night. You could choose between meat or cheese. The portions were huge and we ended up leaving quite a bit. We chose a small Austrian twin room, as we planned on being out skiing most of the week. The beds were extremely comfy. We had a bath and sink in one room, with a separate toilet. The weather was very warm, so even with the radiator off, we actually slept with the window open. With a road just outside it didn’t matter because it’s such a quiet road. The spa is small with two different temperature saunas, a relaxation area and what I think was an infra red cabin. The hotel provides free robes and slippers if you need them. Always kept spotlessly clean, as the rest of the hotel. The ski and boot room has heated racks and you can enter it either from outside with your room key, or from inside the hotel. We saved a fortune staying here compared to Lech/Zurs but the compromise is the bus journey . We would highly recommend this hotel and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if we wanted to ski this area in the future.

Just returned from a great week at the Klostertalerhof in the quiet, little village of Kloesterle. The ski bus which connects the village with the whole Arlberg ski area stops right outside the hotel and it’s 10 minutes to some of the best skiing in the Alps. The staff at the Klostertalerhof are so friendly and welcoming - they were always smiling. The food is exceptionally good - a fantastic choice every day which changes during the course of the week - we reckon this is some of the best food we have ever had skiing in hotels offering half board. The marinated salmon starter was a firm favourite with our group. Great calves liver, tasty seafood tagliatelle, traditional Austrian meat dishes beautifully made, brilliant burgers. Portions are generous. Breakfasts were great too - a good cold selection with delicious local bread and fab omelettes and eggs cooked to order. We need to go on a diet now we are home. The hotel has a good spa area and excellent boot room. Bedrooms are basic and good with very comfortable beds. We will definitely be returning.

This hotel is a real gem. The food is as good as any 5 star hotel. The service is very good, efficient and friendly. The rooms are comfortable and the spa has two saunas and a quiet room for lounging in. The value in terms of the skiing and apres skiing is unbeatable. A frequent bus ride to the local ski station takes you via gondola to Zurs and Lech. After 8.30pm a taxi is required which can be expensive. My hope is that the schedules will improve as this little village is put firmly on the map.

Gastfreundschaft wird hier hoch gelebt,von A-Z Die Hotelbetreiber,das Personal ,vom Service bis zur Raumpflegerin sind identisch freundlich,man fühlt sich hier besser als zuhause. Die Küche.. ..ein wahrer Schmaus,top Qualität, ich habe ein Entrecote gegessen, ein Traum. Natürlich das tolle Frühstück nicht vergessen, ich habe sehr viel gegessen.......
