I don't have a 5 star expectations about this hotel, knowing the price paid, but the front office staff really put us off. If there was a negative star for service, l would vote a negative. Our flight from Kota Kinabalu which was supposed to depart at 7.55pm was retimed to 11.30pm, therefore, our ETA was changed. I had called the front office regarding our late arrival & was informed by the other end that the front door will be closed at 1am & we are supposed to call the number at the front door to get it opened. We managed to reach the hotel at nearly 5am, since we had to arrange for transport & upon check in, we were attended to by a grumpy woman who scolded us for waking her up from her slumber & she was complaining that we were ruining her holiday on the next day. Hello.... She was on duty on the morning we arrived & her holiday had nothing to do with us & it's her private matter & as long as she's still on duty, she was supposed to attend to us. This is the hotel with the worst front office service in the world, the first time we were literally SCOLDED by front office staff! .... Even the stuck up Arabs front office in Mekah hotel can show a bit of courtesy. Will not recommend this hotel
