Comfort Inn & Suites

The hotel is a bit hard to see initially, it is set back off the road quite a ways. The room was comfortable and clean, the bed offered us a good nights sleep. We entered through a side door, avoided the elevator, walked right up the stairway and into our room. Being set back from the road, it was quiet, no traffic noise to keep you up. Though he initially seemed to not care, the desc clerk was helpful in getting us back on the road with the highway construction and closures on 97. Breakfast was good, with many choices for carbohydrates (cereal, waffles, fruit, pastries) and proteins (eggs, meat, yogurt, milk); the usual Continental breakfast fare.

Alaina at the front desk was extremely helpful when we checked in and through out our stay. She went above and beyond in meeting our needs. Our room was clean and comfortable. I requested a roll in shower when I called to make this reservation with Joyce. We received an accessible room with a tub and a bench, not a roll in shower. Alaina did her best to make me comfortable in this situation. Joyce, please reserve a roll in shower when requested.

We are Choice rewards members and stayed at various Choice owned properties on a California and Oregon trip. This hotel was the best of the ones we visited. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was more than adequate, and the breakfast room was very large . There was a nice indoor pool and hot tub. The one odd thing is that you have to drive through a Holiday Inn parking lot to get to the hotel.

I travel about 125 days a year for work and have for 12 years. Never been charged for amending a reservation more than 24 hours ahead of time. I did here and was charged a full day of fees. I called to get it fixed and was met with literally the most unprofessional hotel employee I've dealt with in my life. She was insulting and hung up on me multiple times. This person is literally a disgrace to their profession and doesn't deserve to hold a position in the hospitality industry.

Extremely rude desk staff - both day and night. One, who was wearing a necklace with a bullet on it, remarked rudely on my sister’s Black Lives Matters t-shirt. The other threatened my husband with police when he objected to the incorrect sign stating pool hours and asked to speak with a manager. Coffee was incredibly weak. Breakfast was atrocious. Bowl of fruit in lobby when we arrived had apples with rotten spots (not just bruised) and virtually black bananas. Rooms were very dated and dusty in corners and at windows. Cleaning fluid was left in bathroom, which made us wonder if the place was actually cleaned throughly. Bathtub did not drain completely during showers, leaving us standing in dirty water as we bathed. Had we not had to be there for a last minute family emergency, we would not have stayed - by the time we got there we had to wait 48 hours before we could change hotels without a charge. We also stayed at a Comfort Suites in Portland and it was much better. The food was better and the coffee was good. The staff were wonderful. Unbelievable difference in these two hotels in this chain.

The front desk staff was not friendly to say the least. The hallway had a gross odor and the room had stains on the carpet, dust on things, trash around the bathroom trash can that wasn’t cleaned up and let hair all over the bed. Things are just pain dirty!

My wife and I spent one day at the Comfort Inn in Klamath Falls, This hotel is terrible.. That evening, we requested. an extra blanket. through the front desk. And she said there was none available. I told her I was paying 260 some odd dollars. for this hotel. And I can't even get in. extra blanket. And on top of that, I had to use my cell phone to call the front desk because the phone in the room did not work. I expressed that to the hotel clerk that night. She said the hotel had been sold previously to a new owner And that is why some of the issues.. I told her that wasn't my problem. And I. shouldn't have to suffer. these issues., On top of that, the beds were very uncomfortable. And when I checked out, I told them when they fixed the phone, they can also fix the sink because it's not draining.. I looked on the website today and the rooms are going for $148. And I paid $262. I feel that I get ripped off. and will reconsider using Comfort Inn in the future. The employee that I spoke to from the beginning. should be ashamed of herself.

Don’t stay here under any circumstances! This is a “Comfort Inn”, NOT a “Comfort Inn and Suites”. There’s a huge difference. In reality, this is no different than a Quality Inn. And at $210/night, it’s a total rip off. I’m a Choice Hotels Platinum Elite member and a medically disabled senior. Keep that in mind as you read the rest of this. To add insult to the mis-representation of the hotel brand, Ryan the front desk clerk is mean and lacks any customer service skills. When I arrived at 2:20 pm asking if I could check in, he yelled “Check in time is 3 pm! I can’t let you in a minute before that!” Rude little kid. I felt threatened and unsafe. Suspecting this was a total flea bag hotel, I then asked to see a room before I checked in. “You can’t see a room before 3 pm! They’re not cleaned yet!” Really? Not a single room? He was mean and spoke with voice raised. So I left the lobby to call Choice Hotels to see if they could help. Long story short, they said they couldn’t cancel my reservation. Their only recommendation was for me to go back to the combative desk clerk Ryan and do my best to work it out with him. Really honey? Would you go back to a clerk you thought was going to rape you to “work it out”? I doubt it! No sympathy, no understanding, no action. Choice Hotels was worthless. This is the last straw with Choice Hotels. I’ll give up my elite status and switch to another hotel chain. It’s not worth it.
