una parada recomendada durante el legendario recorrido en jeep por el oeste después de visitar la reserva natural. Las habitaciones son cómodas, la piscina es bonita pero no demasiado limpia. el restaurante ofrece una excelente cocina. Cerca del albergue es recomendable visitar el pueblo de Kirindy con el baobab gigante sagrado.

This place has the most mixed reviews I have seen. 1 1/2hrs out of Morondava on a horrible rollercoaster road. I really liked the central restaurant and swimming pool. The rooms a really cute in a rustic way. I hated the 2 x beds in the room, and I kept hitting my head on mozzie net. People who write these reviews need to lower their chins to a more horizontal position and look around. It's in the middle of remote village

Our 2 night stay here was to visit the Kirindy Forest Reserve. This hotel was perfectly positioned for this. The bungalows are comfortable and spacious. The staff were friendly, humerous and helpful. The food at the restaurant was great. This resort is often mixed up with the other resort Kirindy Lodge which is located within Kirindy Forest Reserve. So to clear this up Relaise du Kirindy is a grwat place to stay.

Very bad impressions - staff is extremely slow, you can wait for lunch or dinner for 2-3 hours - literally you need to ask for every thing sometimes even come to kitchen to ask for your food after 2 hours of wait or for cutlery, no one is interested to help you here - no electricity, WiFi is not working , no aircon - super noisy - staff is shouting all the time or put very loud music - very noisy in nearby village and everyone is begging for money - dirty rooms, no cleaning service provided - very expensive food for Madagascar- expect around 25-30 usd for very basic 3 course meal (which you’ll wait for 2-3 h)

Thankfully, we only spend one night here. The room was basic with just 4 cramped beds side by side, the dinner was cold and expensive and the breakfast was quite minimal compared to the price and other places we visited while in Madagascar. They had a pool which seemed like a great idea when we first booked it but it was quite dirty so the kids didn’t want to go in anyway. Wi-fi was almost nonexistent but this is the case in most places around Madagascar so we can’t really hold that against them. This place was probably nice when it was first build but it looks like no one maintained it since then. Since there are only two solid options in this area you really don’t have a choice anyway so unfortunately, they can get by with what they offer and still run a good business.

The location is terrific, right in Kirindy Réserve, and the staff and welcome are lovely. The bungalows are a bit rustic and not in the best condition, but perfectly fine for the night. Much of the time there isn’t electricity, so do be aware about things like charging your phone. Food is fine, too; not particularly memorable like some hotels in Madagascar, but pleasant and sustaining. We did hear some partying from the nearby village, but I slept quite soundly nonetheless!
