Minglers Sportalm - Das Gourmet- Und Genießerhotel

Last year, during the depth of the covid outbreak, my wife and I stayed here for a week and had a lovely time. I believe I wrote a 5 star review. We also recommended this to our friends who stayed during this most recent visit as well. Some things remained the same; access to the slopes is easy, the dinners were delicious, and some staff members such as Lukas and Hannes are exceptional with respect to customer service. That noted, this review is only 3 stars for the following reasons: 1- The hotel was really understaffed this year, especially during breakfast. Generally speaking we eat early, but one morning we didn't get to the restaurant until 0900 (hours are from 0730 to 1000) and there was very little food remaining. There were only 2 staff members serving over 35 people and the place was a mess. Given we were paying over $400/night for our room, one would expect much better attention to food service. 2- Because my wife and I caught a bad cold, and one of our friends was also going to miss breakfast due to jet lag, we attempted to bring 3 breakfast rolls up to our room (note there is no lunch service and the "snacks" provided at 1500 are minimal). As we were bringing these rolls with us (a value of maybe 1 Euro), the old lady running the kitchen grabbed them from us (after we'd already handled them) saying we are not allowed to take food to our room and then she proceeded to put them back for consumption. This is not only unsanitary, but we were shocked at the unfriendly behavior. I've stayed at literally hundreds of hotels and never, not once, has someone said I can't take food to the room. Again, for over $400/night, one would expect much better consideration. 3- Sauna/spa does not open until 1400, so if you aren't a skier or just taking a rest day, there isn't much to do. 4- There is no small fridge in the room so if you have medications or things for your kids you need to keep cold, you'll be in trouble. There are some lovely people working here, the place is well kept, and the location is good. That said, compared to last year, the visit was disappointing and we'll seek out another place to stay and recommend to our friends next year.

we stayed at the hotel 2 years ago and were so happy then that we returned this year. the location, the food, the staff, the rooms.... everything is perfect. the owners know exactly what their guests need and work so hard to make everyone happy.

Wir waren im September bereits zum fünften Mal zu Gast im Hotel Minglers Sportalm, und es war wie immer ein fantastischer Aufenthalt. Das Hotel bietet eine perfekte Mischung aus modernem, stilvollem Design und einer familiären Atmosphäre, in der man sich sofort wohlfühlt. Das Essen ist absolut hochklassig und verdient eine besondere Erwähnung. Küchenchef Bernhard zaubert Abend für Abend ein erstklassiges Menü, das mit seiner kreativen Zubereitung und der Verwendung regionaler Zutaten überzeugt. Jeder Gang ist ein Genuss für die Sinne. Die Weinauswahl und Beratung von Philipp ist erstklassig. Ebenso hervorzuheben ist das Frühstück von Senior-Chefin Sylvia, das uns jeden Morgen aufs Neue begeistert hat. Die Auswahl ist hervorragend. Der Service im gesamten Hotel ist freundlich, aufmerksam und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Aufenthalt und können das Hotel Minglers Sportalm jedem nur wärmstens empfehlen! Vielen Dank Familie Mingler! Ulla und Thomas

Top Hotel mit exzellentem Service! Es sind wunderschöne Zimmer, eine tolle Dachterrasse und ein richtig schöner Wellnessbereich. Der Pool war ein Highlight - rundum verglast - perfekt um die schöne Aussicht zu genießen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir durften hier Ende Mai unsere Hochzeit auf der Dachterrasse feiern und unsere Erwartungen wurden mehr als erfüllt. Unsere gesamte Hochzeitsgesellschaft war im Hotel unter gebracht, alle waren restlos begeistert von der herzlichen und hilfsbereiten Art der Gastgeber. Vom ersten Berarungsgespräch an wurde uns mit Rat und Tat (Organisation des Blumenschmucks, etc) zur Seite gestanden, es wurde alles getan, um uns den schönsten Tag überhaupt zu bereiten. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir auch die hervorragende Küche, die auf sämtliche Wünsche und Vorlieben (vegetarische Menüs) eingegangen ist und uns kulinarisch von A-Z verwöhnt hat. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und freuen uns schon auf das ein oder andere Gläschen Wein mit der Familie Mingler-Haueis.
