I needed a place to stay for a quick business trip, and Hotel Pulai was perfect. The location was convenient for the place I needed to go. The prices were affordable, the room was clean, and the staff was friendly. Plus, free parking was a great bonus.

La ubicación es maravillosa. El cuarto es limpio, pero se presta más atención a la limpieza del baño. Vio a la gente de la casa sentada alrededor en lugar de hacer un trabajo de limpieza. El desayuno tiene que mejorar. Tenemos arroz frito durante ambos días, afortunadamente el segundo día hay pan de jardinería también.

El apartamento es muy bonito. Tenemos cuatro dormitorios con ocho personas que nos quedamos por dos noches. Las habitaciones fueron espaciosas.. Aunque el cuerpo y el shampoo de pelo eran grandes botellas que se dejaron en el piso. Será bueno si tienen un armario instalado. No hay cortina de ducha, por lo que todo el baño está completamente húmedo todo el tiempo y uno puede deslizar.
No obstante, todos nos gusta el apartamento y no dudaremos en quedarse allí otra vez.

The breakfast had a good spread, but the quality wasn’t great… fruits usually the same, white coffee was subpar, western coffees tasted better. Room, was spacious and generally comfy. Had it’s on filtered water tap in bathroom, that you can fill up in the glass bottles provided. Fridge wasn’t really cold. Toothbrush not provided.

YYasmina17First the positive, it was a bit a clean. Had enough towels. This is my first time with ryokan, but 3rd time to stay in sunway onsen suites. Other previous times the rooms were excellent. However this room, the moment we enter, had hair on the floor n beds. There was no water dispenser, no iron board and washing machine. Bathroom had cockroaches and the water flow was so slow. Ryokan management can look for some upgrade for the room. For Sunway onsen suites management, please clean your pools! Both the onsen n the salt water pool were dirty! We even found a pair of underpants. Reason given was rain bring dirt from mountains🤷♀️. Overall great view of the themepark n mountains.

Apartment Features:
The apartment I stayed in was spacious, modern, and thoughtfully designed. It had an open-concept layout that combined a comfortable living area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a cozy dining nook. The kitchen had all the essentials—fridge, stove, microwave, and even a washing machine, making it perfect for longer stays. The living room had a large flat-screen TV and comfy seating, creating a great space for relaxation. The bedroom was cozy with a large, comfortable bed, and the bathroom had a clean, modern feel with a spacious shower and high-quality amenities. The air conditioning was a lifesaver, especially with Ipoh’s warm weather.
Service:
While staying at The Cove Hillside, I felt like I had the best of both worlds—privacy and comfort, but with access to excellent service. The staff was incredibly friendly, offering quick check-in/check-out and always willing to help with any requests. Housekeeping was efficient, keeping the apartment spotless during my stay. They also provided helpful information on local attractions, making it easy to explore the area.

Plus, the complex is gated with 24-hour security, so I felt very safe and secure throughout my stay.

UUsuario invitadoEn primer lugar, bastante desapontado porque nos asignamos en el bloque C y la habitación era diferente de las fotos proporcionadas en la reserva (no hay una vista fantástica, no hay baño como se muestra en la reserva). Además de nuestra habitación frente a la ciudad y hay ”aves” que se deslumbran al alto del balcón. Hay 3 bloques y el bloque C dado a nosotros mismos también bastante vacío y asustado. Cuando caminamos al alto el área del hotel a la noche sólo se pueden ver ocupadas pocas unidades. Aún la atmósfera en el bloque C no era un fantasma de cos si no lo hubieramos verificado inmediatamente. a Block A unos días antes de que nos ingresamos, pero no se informó de vacaciones en Block A. Pero cuando nos ingresamos, pedimos que cambiara a Block A, pero se informó de la necesidad de subir rm250 por noche porque Block A. Así que conflicto de información. Además, deberían rellenar a los visitantes del bloque A o B, por lo que no será demasiado asustado.
En segundo lugar, las botas de baño no son tan limpias con tintas amarillas.
Aunque nos sorprendió la decoración de la cama de cumpleaños y la ”caca de cumpleaños”, la atmósfera en el bloque C es el propio erie.
No volveré.

I paid extra for it, but when I arrived at 9 AM, many items were already finished. When I asked if they would refill the food, the staff response was sarcastic. After waiting nearly 30 minutes, they only refilled scrambled eggs and a small amount of fried chicken. th veriation for the food very little. The rice was also available, but there were no other dishes to go with it—just rice! Other guests were also unhappy, but no further action was taken by the staff. In the end, my family had to settle for just hashbrowns and hotdogs. Thankfully, the front desk staff was polite and comfort, but overall, the kitchen service was bad very bad. We ended up ordering from GrabFood.

SserihaqimiThis is the place where i felt safe when i go to Ipoh. As usually the front office always excellent, no deposit because i already settle the payment before, but have to pay 2 night tourism tax cost rm6.
As enter the spacious room with king size bed, the linen was comfy and clean. Also got bath tub and rain shower. But i realise the ventilation fan not working. Lotion, syampoo and shower gel attached to the wall. No tooth brush. 2 free water bottle per day.
Got iron and iron board, the wardrobe was big. Got hair dryer and refrigerator.
I also order the room service which it cost me rm17 nett. Beef lasagna with salad, desert and free drink. Not bad.
Will come again to this hotel if i come to Ipoh.😁

La zona alrededor era un poco tranquila. Pero es agradable. Hay un bonito restaurante francés abajo. No es muy alto, pero funciona para unas noches de estancia.

UUsuario invitadothis is the second time i’m staying at this place. the first time was booked via agoda. the room is spacious and nice but floor is dusty. but that isn’t a big deal for me. what has really ruined my mood for the stay was the front desk guy. he is an indian man. he called me 3 times on the morning of my stay but i didn’t pick up because i was driving from KL. when i reach there around 2.30 pm after i had my lunch, i gave a call to the number in the front desk (which was his number who called me earlier) to ask if can check-in now or need to wait until 3pm. he said 3pm and i was okay since it’s just a few more minutes until 3pm anyway. no one was in the premise at that time which is why i call the number written on the whiteboard. during my check-in, he is complaining about why i didn’t pickup the call so he didn’t know what time i’m coming to check in. so unprofessional of him to say that the first thing to a guest. trying to blame me? well first, you’re calling in the morning of my trip and you can’t expect me to pickup the phone when i’m driving? you could have just leave a message on whatsapp if i didn’t pickup the call. everybody is using whatsapp nowadays so what’s so hard to reach me?
second, he asks for RM50 deposit but my mother didn’t hear at first so she asked what the RM50 is for and he said to buy KFC? repeatedly saying to buy KFC. is that suppose to be a joke? we all know he’s just trying to be sarcastic to my mother because that isn’t funny at all to us.
during my first time stay at this place on Dec 2023, Mr Poon whatsapp me A DAY before my trip to confirm my booking and my arrival time. it was pleasant and easy with Mr Poon which is why i choose this place again for my second trip but turns out, the front desk is a different person this time and he really ruined my mood during my stay there because of his unprofessional attitude.
