This is the place where i felt safe when i go to Ipoh. As usually the front office always excellent, no deposit because i already settle the payment before, but have to pay 2 night tourism tax cost rm6.
As enter the spacious room with king size bed, the linen was comfy and clean. Also got bath tub and rain shower. But i realise the ventilation fan not working. Lotion, syampoo and shower gel attached to the wall. No tooth brush. 2 free water bottle per day.
Got iron and iron board, the wardrobe was big. Got hair dryer and refrigerator.
I also order the room service which it cost me rm17 nett. Beef lasagna with salad, desert and free drink. Not bad.
Will come again to this hotel if i come to Ipoh.😁

Good hotel that’s linked to Ipoh Parade. Near a few good massage places. The breakfast had a good spread, but the quality wasn’t great… fruits usually the same, white coffee was subpar, western coffees tasted better. Room, was spacious and generally comfy. Had it’s on filtered water tap in bathroom, that you can fill up in the glass bottles provided. Fridge wasn’t really cold. Toothbrush not provided.

La habitación es grande, pero vieja. Es necesario pagar 1 aparcamiento por día. El desayuno es excelente. Los niños menores de 12 años pagan. La piscina está bastante sucia ya que no hay control, cualquiera sin el traje de baño adecuado puede simplemente saltar. Los alrededores no están mal, con la orilla del río y el jardín japonés cerca.

The hotel really lives up to its description as an oasis away from the city. I loved how it was located away from the hustle and bustle of the central city area, amidst beautiful nature. The hotel had several unique amenities such as the fish pool, meditation cave and crystal cave which were amazing to be be in. We booked a lake villa which had its own hot tub and private pool, as well as a nice balcony with a scenic view of the lake. All staff were very friendly and provided excellent service, and we also enjoyed dinner at Jeff’s Cellar - a mind-blowing experience with a delicious 10-course menu in a gorgeous 260-million-year-old limestone cave.

Overall room cleanliness is satisfactory and amenities are made available though some is missing. The only disappointment is the room have no view despite its at 7th floor. All windows are barricaded by walls with no lights source. Definitely is a big thumbs down for any business traveler who look forward to a pleasant city view in Ipoh.
THe next stay will need to be more specific to have a view with proper light source to tell the day and night apart.

The room was large, comfortable, and had a great smart TV. However, I was disappointed with the breakfast buffet. I paid extra for it, but when I arrived at 9 AM, many items were already finished. When I asked if they would refill the food, the staff response was sarcastic. After waiting nearly 30 minutes, they only refilled scrambled eggs and a small amount of fried chicken. th veriation for the food very little. The rice was also available, but there were no other dishes to go with it—just rice! Other guests were also unhappy, but no further action was taken by the staff. In the end, my family had to settle for just hashbrowns and hotdogs. Thankfully, the front desk staff was polite and comfort, but overall, the kitchen service was bad very bad. We ended up ordering from GrabFood.

En primer lugar, bastante desapontado porque nos asignamos en el bloque C y la habitación era diferente de las fotos proporcionadas en la reserva (no hay una vista fantástica, no hay baño como se muestra en la reserva). Además de nuestra habitación frente a la ciudad y hay ”aves” que se deslumbran al alto del balcón. Hay 3 bloques y el bloque C dado a nosotros mismos también bastante vacío y asustado. Cuando caminamos al alto el área del hotel a la noche sólo se pueden ver ocupadas pocas unidades. Aún la atmósfera en el bloque C no era un fantasma de cos si no lo hubieramos verificado inmediatamente. a Block A unos días antes de que nos ingresamos, pero no se informó de vacaciones en Block A. Pero cuando nos ingresamos, pedimos que cambiara a Block A, pero se informó de la necesidad de subir rm250 por noche porque Block A. Así que conflicto de información. Además, deberían rellenar a los visitantes del bloque A o B, por lo que no será demasiado asustado.
En segundo lugar, las botas de baño no son tan limpias con tintas amarillas.
Aunque nos sorprendió la decoración de la cama de cumpleaños y la ”caca de cumpleaños”, la atmósfera en el bloque C es el propio erie.

Stayed here for 5 nights. Wifi in room totally do not exist. Have to go to the lobby for wifi. Was told that they having wifi problems. Can log in but no internet. Very basic hotel facilities. Stay here if you are taking advantage of the location.

YYasmina17First the positive, it was a bit a clean. Had enough towels. This is my first time with ryokan, but 3rd time to stay in sunway onsen suites. Other previous times the rooms were excellent. However this room, the moment we enter, had hair on the floor n beds. There was no water dispenser, no iron board and washing machine. Bathroom had cockroaches and the water flow was so slow. Ryokan management can look for some upgrade for the room. For Sunway onsen suites management, please clean your pools! Both the onsen n the salt water pool were dirty! We even found a pair of underpants. Reason given was rain bring dirt from mountains🤷♀️. Overall great view of the themepark n mountains.

If you're looking for a peaceful, luxurious stay with a stunning natural backdrop, this is the place to be. The apartment complex is situated on a beautiful hillside, offering panoramic views of Ipoh’s lush greenery and limestone hills.
Apartment Features:
The apartment I stayed in was spacious, modern, and thoughtfully designed. It had an open-concept layout that combined a comfortable living area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a cozy dining nook. The kitchen had all the essentials—fridge, stove, microwave, and even a washing machine, making it perfect for longer stays. The living room had a large flat-screen TV and comfy seating, creating a great space for relaxation. The bedroom was cozy with a large, comfortable bed, and the bathroom had a clean, modern feel with a spacious shower and high-quality amenities. The air conditioning was a lifesaver, especially with Ipoh’s warm weather.

While staying at The Cove Hillside, I felt like I had the best of both worlds—privacy and comfort, but with access to excellent service. The staff was incredibly friendly, offering quick check-in/check-out and always willing to help with any requests. Housekeeping was efficient, keeping the apartment spotless during my stay. They also provided helpful information on local attractions, making it easy to explore the area.

JJeffery CYI recently had the pleasure of staying at Symphony Suites Hotel, Ipoh, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish.
The hotel is strategically located, just a 10-minute drive to Ipoh city center, making it a convenient base for exploring the city. Upon check-in, we were warmly welcomed by the incredibly friendly and attentive staff, who immediately made us feel at home. To our delight, we were also offered complimentary afternoon tea and light snacks - a thoughtful touch that set the tone for our stay.
The room was impeccably clean, with a comfortable bed that ensured a restful night’s sleep. The toilet was spotless, with no unpleasant odors, which is always a big plus. Breakfast at the hotel was simple but delicious, featuring fresh and satisfying options to start the day right.
One lovely surprise was finding a personalized note in my room after check-in. The management had left a greeting wishing me a Merry Christmas. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and it made me feel so warm and happy. Small touches like this truly set this hotel apart. Thank you so much!

MMohdEstancia de una noche antes de dirigirse a Penang. Nos registramos tarde alrededor de las 10 pm. Una vez que ingresa, la habitación está limpia y cuenta con desayuno para 2 personas. Comida agradable y similar al menú limitado del hotel 5⭐️. Por supuesto que es lo que pagaste, no los compares desde ese lado. En general muy satisfecho y definitivamente será mi opción si paso por Ipoh.

UUsuario invitadoAsí que el hotel era bastante bueno. Inspeccionar era suave. La habitación era limpia. Limpiaron la habitación diariamente y frescas botellas de agua. No hay quejas. La zona alrededor era un poco tranquila. Pero es agradable. Hay un bonito restaurante francés abajo. No es muy alto, pero funciona para unas noches de estancia.

Mike Pizza, Rojak Padang, Nasi Ayam Taugeh dan lain lain. Untuk mereka yg travel gunakan train n bus, sesuai sgt.
If nak travel ke Tasik Cermin, Gunung Lang bagai, kena ada transport sendiri.
The staff is friendly. Ada cerek letrik, tapi kena beli 3in1 kalau tgh malam rasa nak minum. Malam, mmg x der apa lah. Kalau nak g Gerbang Malam, boleh je jalan kaki dlm 27 mins kalau rasa larat la. But for my family, kami rela jalan kaki walau jauh. Dpt menikmati view malam yg kosong dan view siang yg menyesakkan.
Kami stay at family room with double queen bed. Walau bilik sedikit sempit but still comfortable. Bukan nak duduk bilik sepanjang masa right? Bilik air luas sgt, boleh masuk la 5/6 orang dalam tu.
Keadaan bau tu, bg kami ok je ala2 macam bau lama, bangunan lama. Especially kat lif. Dlm bilik x dak bau yg kurang menyenangkan. Selesa.
Iron, disediakan depan lif. Yes, hotel ni ada lif. Bg yg x larat nak angkut beg beso naik turun tangga, jgn risau. Ada lif sedia tuk digunakan. Ada juga water dispenser kat dapur kalau malas nak masak air dlm bilik.
Belakang bangunan ada medan selera. Pagi boleh la lapik perut sbelum gerak ronda tuk food hunting yg sebenar. Ada jam beso yg cukup time berbunyi.
Nak jalan ke ets amik masa dlm 15-20 mins. Kalau dr stesen bas Jalan Bendahara, dalam 27 mins. We prefer berjalan je semua. Baru feel ala2 tourist di negara sendiri.

UUsuario invitadothis is the second time i’m staying at this place. the first time was booked via agoda. the room is spacious and nice but floor is dusty. but that isn’t a big deal for me. what has really ruined my mood for the stay was the front desk guy. he is an indian man. he called me 3 times on the morning of my stay but i didn’t pick up because i was driving from KL. when i reach there around 2.30 pm after i had my lunch, i gave a call to the number in the front desk (which was his number who called me earlier) to ask if can check-in now or need to wait until 3pm. he said 3pm and i was okay since it’s just a few more minutes until 3pm anyway. no one was in the premise at that time which is why i call the number written on the whiteboard. during my check-in, he is complaining about why i didn’t pickup the call so he didn’t know what time i’m coming to check in. so unprofessional of him to say that the first thing to a guest. trying to blame me? well first, you’re calling in the morning of my trip and you can’t expect me to pickup the phone when i’m driving? you could have just leave a message on whatsapp if i didn’t pickup the call. everybody is using whatsapp nowadays so what’s so hard to reach me?
second, he asks for RM50 deposit but my mother didn’t hear at first so she asked what the RM50 is for and he said to buy KFC? repeatedly saying to buy KFC. is that suppose to be a joke? we all know he’s just trying to be sarcastic to my mother because that isn’t funny at all to us.
during my first time stay at this place on Dec 2023, Mr Poon whatsapp me A DAY before my trip to confirm my booking and my arrival time. it was pleasant and easy with Mr Poon which is why i choose this place again for my second trip but turns out, the front desk is a different person this time and he really ruined my mood during my stay there because of his unprofessional attitude.
