Friendly welcoming staff in a traditional pub hotel, the bar was busy with friendly customers. The accommodation was at the top up 2 flights of stairs and well worth it, great space, well decorated and airy, views out onto the marina - excellent. Big comfy extra large bed in separate bedroom with a small but perfectly functional en-suite and a large free standing bath in the bedroom. I can’t think of anything negative to say at all. The parking if free in a retail park 50 yards from the front door, we arrived early and the security staff on site added our car to the free system which was good too. Short walk across a bridge into Hull old town loads of history, bars and restaurants and more trendy bars next to the marina. The food in the hotel was reasonably priced and very tasty, served quickly - we tried to eat there a 2nd but were too late - our bad! A great relaxing weekend break - thanks

What a great find. The staff are so friendly. The room was large and had everything we needed. Even though we were close to the road we didn't hear the traffic in the morning. The price was really reasonable too. We will definitely return. Thank you

Lovely clean room, excellent food and friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Shame we were woken in the Emerald Room by the TV next door in the Cabin Room at 05:45am. Either the walls are very thin or the occupant was very hard of hearing or both. Knocked on the door to ask them to turn it down but no response as the TV was too loud.

We have been for Sunday lunch on quite a few occasions, and the food is always excellent. Plenty of it, always delicious, would highly recommend it. For the Sunday lunch, it's always advisable to book. It is just across the road from the ice arena (home to the Hull Seahawks), so it gets pretty busy on match days.

Lovely stay for the night. Friendly and welcoming staff and worth the money. Room had everything you needed, we were in the black and white room. Just a short walk into town. Will stay again if visiting Hull. Thank you. Mireille and Mick, Sheffield

We stayed here for one night in the 1 bedroom apartment,what a lovely apartment furnished very nicely with everything you could want,such great attention to detail,and spotlessly clean throughout,the pub itself I hadn’t been in for many many years and it has been refurbed to a lovely standard,the owners are very helpful and very welcoming we will definitely return

Very warm welcome. Extremely helpful. Room was very clean and a nice comfy bed. There was lots of little touches which was bery tgoigjtful and handy as i forgot my showergel. The free parking was a bonus. I go to Hull every coupe of months, so i will definitely be staying there agIn

Fantastic place to stay in just a short walk from the city. Lovely staff and atmosphere. Landlady Gill was really welcoming when we arrived after a long day.Live music the Friday we stayed which was a bonus! Will definetly return in the future.

Comfortable four poster room (Emerald), friendly staff. The food is fantastic, well cooked and presented large portions very reasonably priced. Easy access to the room when owners not on site. Free parking in the retail car park, ( you give the pub your car reg to facilitate this ). Short walk into city centre, very close to Bonus Arena.
