This review is my experiance i wish the review was positive as i like to support and give good review and visit again. i have never experiance anything like this and i would strongly advice on any one who may considering of booking this place, please do not waste your money unless you dont mind the issues shared. communication was not good, and it became very stressful.
this booking as left a seriously bad taste in our mouth they have spoiled my daughter's age (13) experiance of what a jamaica "hotel" look and feel like.
not to mention my own view and feelings, the room was smelly the place is run down and not up to even a standard that is acceptable to advertise as a busniess. i couldnt get in the room because the code was wrong and after fifteen minutes (i had no jamaican credit at the time) of trying and speaking with the manager to find out the code was wrong through someone giving them a call who was sitting out side. (which i appreciate)
then we got in coming straight from the airport we needed to use the bathroom and could not find it after we were told it was beside the kitchen i then found out that all room are locked and no one was there to open the bathroom door. until now i dont know where it is. no proper light in the property i had to use my phone camera to locate a lamp on the floor. the over head fan wasnt working and the windows were not even private ( see through curtains). unless you stand at the end where the other cutrain and a make shift bed sheet curtain was put up to give some privacy not be me.
the kitchen was in a very poor state, the cooker was dirty with pot left on cooker. we left within the hour because we could not stay there any more after wating so long for things to be sorted out. we could not find or use the bathroom, the room was not in a good condition the seat was dirty burn mark tore out in places. the only thing that looked ok was the bed and the two bunk beds, but to access the lader it was in a corner that was not position correctly to use.
i was told my the manager he was sorry about the mix up and that he could tell me where another bathroom was around the property by this time. we got off a flight and was hungry and tired and just wanted to use the toliet and shower and couldnt. basic human rights. the service was very very poor, and i would advice others please please think very carefully.
before any more visitors it needs alot doing to it. and its not a hotel its a house where other people live. so think exactly what your needs are if you want a real hotel experiance or a room in a house with no personality.
i was told by the manager that they were waiting on me but left, why would you leave before 9pm. because they were not sure when i was coming he said. but it clearly says self check in with codes to get in.
i was not send an email about that, so at the end of the day. we did not enjoy our stay and to have no cancelation or refund. i should be given a refund because the house was not up to a standard that was good enough to stay in.
