Room is big.WiFi is weak. The most unpleasant thing is, list price $90,when I payed by card was$100.24. Though they said the government charge and etc.

Hotell compuesto por varias cabañas individuales y otras con varias habitaciones. Está todavia en fase de construcción. El personal muy amable aunque le tuvimos que pedir que nos enseñara donde estaba la piscina, para el desayuno..... La habitación grande, con ducha y bañera. No esperes gel de ducha, no hay. Tienes nevera en la habitación. El desayuno es el habitual de la isla: fruta, tostadas y diferentes opciones de huevo. La piscina enorme y con agua templada porque le da el sol todo el dia. Nos dejaron unas bicicletas sin coste para dar una vuelta. Cerca hay un par de restaurantes que se come bien y por 10 euros dos personas. En general buen sitio para alojarse

Nice place to stay. Good local food prepared by the womrn of the house. Great clean swimming pool. Big room with fantastic shower and little private swimmingpool with jaccuzzi. We enjoyed after a day climbing Lion Rock and a great safari aranged by the friendly staff!

This was our first stay (3 nights) on our travels round Sri Lanka. We had a lovely setting and privacy in an end lodge overlooking woods and lake beyond. Spotted monkeys in the trees along with peacocks and birds. Lovely pool. Romantic bath and late night swims! Could have done with a clothes line or clothes horse for drying clothes.

We arrived were asked to look at a phone and say which was our reservation, then are bags were picked up and dumped in a room. There is no restaurant on site. Not very welcoming and so we left and went elsewhere. The pool looked nice but no-one around to offer a towel. I'm not convinced by the 9 rating.

The patrons were attentive and exceptionally nice people. Rooms were spacious, clean and well equipped.The grounds were well cared for, lots of space. Swimming pool was clean and warm. Various forms of wildlife could be seen, great bird life and wonderful sounds. Breakfast was varied, lots of fruit and local food. Easy to get to Lion Rock and also local restaurants-needed a tuk-tuk, but that wasn’t a problem. Highly recommended.

Overall liked the place in Sigiriya. Room was quite big and employees are very friendly. Breakfast was rich (perhaps could be a bit cheaper as there is no juice). They were flexible to even open the pool lights in the late night based on my request but frogs and all insects enjoyed immediately, so couldn't enter. I recommend here to stay.

The lodges are spacious and spotless, with comfy beds and crisp linens. large picture windows and a wooden veranda with a view of the bats flying home to roost at sunset. The setting is quite magical, with peacocks, monkeys, iguanas and mongooses inhabiting the grounds. There is a large and well maintained pool which is very welcome. The Sri Lankan breakfast is very tasty and a short walk away Wilhara restaurant serves great food.

Do not be fooled by the entrance to this hidden gem. It is an oasis in the heat. We had a deluxe cottage which had everything we needed, from a hot powerful shower, much needed air con and amazing views into the gardens. The pool was clean and inviting like a warm bath and the wildlife was perfect entertainment. The breakfast was lovely and we had an early start to Lions Rock which was no trouble with fresh fruit, toast and omelettes prepared for us. A real oasis of calm with a dip in the pool and drinks on our balcony after a long hot day of sightseeing.
