Larkfield House B&B, Ballycasheen Kerry V93 WD51

I am leaving my review 23 years after I was there because back then I don't think there many review sites as today. John and Kathy were the kindest people when I visited Killarney and stayed several nights at Larkfield House. Their prices were great and their hospitality was huge. I really appreciated them and their help. I was a young woman traveling the area by myself (my dream trip to the land of my ancestors), and they really helped me when I was stranded in Rosslaire because I missed the last train out that evening. I had booked their B and B ahead of time and was worried that because I wouldn't be arriving on the date I had planned since I was stranded overnight in Rosslaire, John reassured me that they would hold my room and be there to meet at the train station the next day when I arrived. It really put me at ease. And as they promised, they there at the train station in Killarney to meet me the next day. They gave me complimentary rides into town and the surrounding area, booked a tour of the Ring of Kerry for me. They were so super nice and tried help where they could. I loved the Irish breakfast each morning. They really helped me make some nice memories.

John and Kathy are fantastic hosts, so welcoming. We were on a motorcycle trip around Ireland. The rooms were excellent and very well equipped. Breakfast was first class in quality and quantity. Location was convenient and easy to find and there’s more than enough parking. Highly reccomended ! Thank you John and Kathy

Veramente veramente carina come sistemazione. Pulitissima, in ordine, una camera delle giuste dimensioni per riposare fra le varie escursioni nei dintorni con bagno privato e una bella doccia con acqua ben calda e getto potente. I proprietari sono molto cordiali, sempre presenti anche oltre le 23.00. Colazione concordata il giorno precedente ma ovviamente per i due giorni che siamo restati in città esclusivamente Irish! Preparata al momento, anche alle 7.30 del mattino causa ripresa del viaggio. Proprietari molto cortesi e disponibili. Solo parole positive per l'alloggio e per i gestori. Assolutamente la miglior sistemazione che abbiamo trovato lungo le strade della nostra vacanza. Da consigliare!!
