nos quedamos ahi y la verdad es que e Sun hotel que tiene todas las comodidades, los cuartos son muy cómodos, y amplios y muy limpio en todos los sentidos. el gimnasio esta perfectamente comodo. la alberca y el restaurante muy bien. lo unico malo es que el restaurante si tarda mucho la comida y eso es un poco incomodo pero engendra muy buena experiencia.

The Retrait was such a vibe, the stuff are super friendly, loved their services. The heated pool outside the room was everything, very cozy. I loved their outdoors showers. I love the trees and the gardens at both the retrait and heaven Loved the whole experience

We spent a night in the Pool Villa and was amazed by the luxury and hospitality of the place. Definitely setting new standards for a staycation in Kigali! Everything from the heated, private pool to the outdoor shower, the bathtub big enough for two people makes this the perfect place for a couple to enjoy some time together. The food and service is amazing as well. 100/10 recommend!

Beautiful rooms and great first night in Kigali. We flew from NY to Nairobi to Kigali and stayed here our first night after our long trip. It was a perfect place to stay for our entry into our trip. Centrally located in the city. The rooms were spectacular with our own heated pools our teenage kids swam in. Indoor and outdoor showers. Apparently our kids stayed in the same suite King Charles stayed in over the summer. The gym here is well equipped and i worked out twice in it. We had breakfast included which was nicely served by the main pool. Make note it included a 30 min massage but you have to book in advance. We were not told this so they were not able to accommodate that amenity for us which was a disappointment that’s why i gave it 4 stars. Also we ate dinner at the hotel and i regret that. The food wasn’t great for dinner, in retrospect we should have tried one of the restaurants in Kigali since it is safe and they have lots of options that have views overlooking the city. Otherwise for the room and gym i highly recommend this hotel.

This is one of the best hotels in all of Kigali. It's a boutique hotel with special charm, wonderful service, beautiful design, and amazing staff. We only stayed one night, but enjoyed every moment of it. Here are our hot tips: Get a room with the outdoor shower. The massage was one of the best we have ever had (she is an artist of deep tissue). The restaurant is where guests from other hotels come because the food is that good.

Excelent hotel, excelent staff, great food, great selections of wine. Is more a resort in the city of Kigali, was a great experience. We had villa no 6, pool vila, 125sqm, exceptional. Would like to mention from Staff Happines and Prince. Thank you.

Stunning property and rooms well appointed and excellent accessories. The biggest bed I've ever slept in, it could fit at least 5 people! Plunge pool outside the room, inside and outside showers for the room also. We left very early the next morning to drive to Akagera, quickly sampled the buffet breakfast which perfectly nice. Apparently King Charles stayed here a couple of years ago, we can see why!

My husband and I were lucky enough to spend a night in a luxury pool villa over my birthday and it was truly such a treat! This place really feels like an oasis, a beautiful setting where every detail has been thought out and carefully considered - I really loved the local artisanal touch to the rooms, the food and even the spa treatments! Our room was absolutely perfect, the bed was super comfortable (and probably the biggest I’ve ever slept in!) and the room was really just a sanctuary where we could relax and enjoy the heated plunge pool. We loved all our meals and found the staff to be incredibly helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend staying at The Retreat for a beautiful getaway in the heart of Kigali.

I was here last week for a night and my friends stayed a total of four nights here. Overall, I'm torn on my review. The setting is lovely. Overall the people who work here are nice and try to do the right thing. People in the bar and restaurant very friendly. I had paid for an upgrade from the entry level deluxe room to the mid level suite. The hotel didn't receive this change so initially I was assigned to one of the entry level rooms. It was small and dark and not great. Eventually the mess was sorted and I got my larger room. It was nice. My friends, tough, had the smaller room. Though functional, it was small and they didn't love it. Almost fell on the slick shower floor several times. That's not good. Breakfasts were good. Had dinner in the restaurant and it was ok. Some weird combinations but my risotto was good. Appreciate the free massage but they definitely try to upsell you. This is a nice hotel but if you're going to stay here don't go for the cheapest room as they're not great.
