Andrews Inn & Garden Cottages

Beautiful place right off Duval , feels like a little oasis yet very close to everything. Continental breakfast is very good, besides the usual includes eggs, bacon or sausage , waffles or French toast. Happy hour is included and a great way to meet other guests We only stay here!

I cannot say enough good things about Andrews Inn. The property is smack dab in the middle of old town Key West, but when you’re there you’d never know it. If you been to Key West before….I can all but guarantee you’ve walked by one of the entrances that take you to Andrews. I know we have, 100s of times, prior to this trip. Walk down one of these lanes and you arrive to the quiet, serene courtyard that’s only steps away from the music, food, and entertainment that is the heartbeat of Key West. It’s a slice of heaven. On arrival, Izabella gave us a tour of the property and showed us to our room. She was wonderful and immediately answered any questions we had. We stayed in Pamplona. We absolutely loved it. There is a private balcony off this room overlooking the Hemmingway property. The property only has 6 rooms so it never felt crowded. Loved grabbing coffee every morning before sunrise. We said it was almost like having our own kitchen – coffee, tea, water, ice, etc. The breakfast in the mornings was a great way to start the day and was self-serve between 8 and 10am. The pool and courtyard were such an amazing place to escape the craziness and seek some relaxation. It’s absolutely the highlight of the property. It’s truly like you’ve been transported to another location. You can hear the wind rustling in the trees above, the birds singing, and the water fountains trickling. Truly amazing knowing you are surrounded, steps away, from enough music, drinks, and food to fill endless days of entertainment. You cannot go wrong with Andrews Inn. We will be returning in July!

Fantastic little cottage house .. Very nice and clean room equipped with everything you need. Air conditioning.Located near by Hemingway House and not away from the beach and Main Street Simple but fresh breakfast . Free bicycles . Swimming pool is small Really recommended

This was our fifth visit to Key West our first at Andrews Inn. The location of the inn is one of the best features - down a small side street with only a few other properties but close to Duval St. We were amazed at how quiet the property was tucked into the spot. Small with only six rooms the inn has a delightful back yard with lush landscaping, a small pool and lounging area and breakfast tables. We stayed in the Venezia Room which is the smallest room at the inn. It was extremely quiet at night, the queen sized bed was very comfortable and bathroom was nicely appointed. The only change we would make next time is we would book a larger room. The breakfast was sufficient and served staring promptly at 8 AM - items offered included quiche, assorted pastries, breads, bagels, cereal and fresh fruit. If you are interested in a bigger breakfast options are nearby. The Inn also has Happy Hour by the pool daily from 2-4 and served a nice assortment of wines, beer and seltzers. The pool area was wonderful for a mid afternoon rest- we were able to relax and get to know many of the other guests. Another feature that we enjoyed and made full use of are the bicycles that are available for guest use. On several days we rode the bikes out to Fort Zachary Taylor State Park and were able to enjoy the beach and water views! The staff were extremely pleasant and committed to making our stay as enjoyable as possible. We also enjoyed interacting with other guests and shared tips and ideas about activities and adventures - other places we have stayed did not have this friendly atmosphere that we were looking for. This Inn exceeded our expectations and we will definitely stay here when we come back to Key West!

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and loved it! The location is perfect and central to the island. You’re close to Hemingway house and many delicious restaurants, but it still feels like a private oasis when you enter. We had no issues with noise from Duval street. Happy hour in the afternoon was very pleasant, breakfast was always good, and our room was impeccable (we stayed in the Madrid room). I only have 2 complaints that are so minimal in my opinion, that it was not worth rating less than 5 stars. I wish that the coffee bar set out fresh creamer or flavored syrups rather than the little cups of shelf-stable creamer. Also, I wish that the staff hosed off the pool deck more often. There was often bird poop on the lounge chairs and pool deck. There are a lot of birds though so it’s understandable. Overall though, we loved our stay here and look forward to returning with family and friends!!

We just returned from a short trip to Key West. The weather was rainy but honestly this made for a very pleasant experience. The Inn had good accommodations with upgraded memory foam beds-very nice. The pool was the highlight-just the right temperature and a great welcome back after sight seeing. We were able to check in early and out late. We met some fellow guests during the happy hour and had enjoyable evenings chatting. Beautiful lush grounds and a convenient location to everything.
