INCREDIBLE VACATION!!!! Just got back from Salmon Falls Resorts with my best friends from college and boy was this place ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!! We were greeted by one of the Managers named Mitch who went above and beyond making sure our stay was amazing. He gave us a tour of the property and showed us the best locations for taking in the awesome views. Heidi in the office was unbelievably nice helping our group. We had way to many questions about fishing and getting our license set up. She handled everything like a true Alaskan professional and got us all the things we needed for a great fishing trip. She made sure we were well taken care of the entire time! Kandice was also a huge help with planning our activities when we weren’t fishing. She found a E bike and hiking tour around Lunch Falls trails. It was a perfect tour for group. She also suggested the Family Air Tours flight around the Misty Fjords. It was my favorite part of the trip Besides the Awesome fishing!! THE FISHING We had the best captain in all of Ketchikan take us out named Capt Jack! He made sure we always had a line in the water and took excellent care of us. Jack put us right on the salmon and had us reeling in fish the whole time we went out with him! Timbers Restaurant If you are in the Ketchikan area you need to find time to eat at Timbers. Every meal we had there was so good! Chief Jordon made every night feel like we were eating a 5 star meal cooked perfectly for each of us. I think we tried every appetizer and main dish Twice while we were there! You can tell Chief Jordon really loves what he does by the care he takes in creating the awesome menu at Timbers! This was by far the best trip I’ve been on and it was all thanks to the amazing people that work at Salmon Falls!

Booked a stay for September in July. In August I emailed the information address about our stay and other activities. After 2 days of zero response I called only to be told someone would call back. After another day I received call. After making plans and several emails back and forth, a week before our flight I emailed to confirm all to be told that they would be closing for the season. No one reached out to me, their website still stated they were going to be open. They referred me to their sister property who told me we could stay but they couldn't accommodate our activities because they were closing also. We had to find another place to stay all together. I'm glad we didn't stay here.

Salmon Falls Resort was a fantastic spot to celebrate our 43rd anniversary. It was made so special by the people. From check in, to dining, to our fantastic Captian, Derek, to the airport transportation, and finally to check out. Very smooth start to finish and worth every penny.

I don't know how Salmon Falls scored all the best people in the world to work for them. From their fishing boat Captains/ Guides to their dock staff. To everyone at the bar and in the restaurant at Timbers. Everyone in transportation. The whole hospitality staff. Hands down, the most kind, sincere, wholesome, mellow and funny staff we've ever had on our travels.

My husband and I are local but took some time to connect at the Lodge. The scenery was breathtaking, the service was top notch and the relaxation was spot on. The food at Timbers was light, healthy and delicious!!! Highlight of our time there.

Spent the day at SFR. We enjoyed a beautifully presented, fresh, wonderful breakfast buffet. Next was a successful morning of fishing, with Tony as our guide. He was amazing, and we caught our limit of Coho salmon, in no time at all! We stayed around long enough to enjoy a fantastic lunch, with an ice cold beer, and glass of wine, while overlooking the most amazing scenery on earth. It was a perfect day!

We had a great stay, from timely airport pickup, friendly staff, great dining experiences and great fishing adventures. Came home with lots a tasty salmon and halibut. Will definitely be back!

You cannot be the setting. The views are majestic. The dining lodge is a great venue and outdoor seating is great. The rooms are average and not in keeping with a top quality high end resort, which this aspires to. They are in need of upgrade and remodeling. But this is Ketchikan, where there is not alot of competition. Still for $300 a night, one should expect high end finishes, bathrooms, etc. which this is definitely not. Also the room is on the small side. But the staff is very nice and accommodating. We had a problem with noise from the restaurant (the music was playing all night long) but we complained and they turned off the music the next night). And the food was very good at the restaurant and service as well.

The lodge and resturant are above average. I have been thing AK for Salmon for over 20 yrs. We caught our limit of Kings and when we got home we each had a half a filet of King each in our boxes. Where is the rest of the filets?
