This was our second trip to Kerry, and to this wonderful b&b, I sighed a sigh of relief when we arrived this time because I felt like I had come home. Bernadette and Jimmy are amazing hosts, and Bernadette is a wealth of knowledge for the area and comes up with some gems of places to visit. The entire hotel is spotless, its bright and fresh and the rooms are beautiful, the beds are so comfy and being in the countryside, the rooms are so dark and quiet at night. So nice to be able to have a bath or shower in a bathroom overlooking the mountains. Could have stayed in the bath just gazing out if the window all day, but there was far too much exploring to do. We had breakfast, which was gorgeous, egg bacon black and white pudding (I'm converted) beans the works. Cereal and toast, barely needed to eat for the rest of the day. Tea and coffee facilities in the room, along with hairdryer and walk in wardrobe. It feels special stsyong here We will be back ASAP, I can't wait.

We stayed here for 1 night as part of our Ireland Road Trip. We were welcomed by the owner and showed to our spacious, comfortable and clean room. We were made to feel very welcome and received good directions to local eateries close-by. The breakfast served was cooked to order, very good quality and plentiful. We would certainly recommend Murray M View to friends and relatives.

We stayed in a big comfortable room, with a nice bathroom and a view towards the front garden. The B&B is located somehow at the entrance on the Dingle peninsula, it has big gardens around a very beautiful house, and horses (we did not manage to see them, pity :( ). The breakfast was excellent, the coffee lovely and the hosts extremely nice, helpful and welcoming. We plan to go back and stay more since we felt so good here! really nothing to complain about!

Rooms at Mountain View are beautiful and clean. The bathrooms were clean and roomy. The setting is beautiful. At breakfast, which was delicious and served with caring and a smile, you look out at the mountains. The breakfast room is pretty and cozy. Bernadette is very friendly and readily answers any questions you have which is so helpful if you're not familiar with the country. She was never in too big a hurry to make us feel welcome, yet she was efficient and her hospitality is excellent.

Just returned from lovely trip to Ireland - among nice scenic views we will remember (Wicklow, Killarney, Moher cliffs etc) we faced some reliability issues that are strictly unacceptable nowdays ! - 'Mountain view B&B' was certainly worst with regard to attitude & hospitality culture - as 'rolling' family vehicle trip of 4 adults (couple & 2 mature daughters) we ordered ALL accommodations ahead in order to secure stays & avoid time waste during trip itself - Mrs. Bernadette Murry of 'Mountain view B&B' confirmed our 2 rooms order for arrival 27/5 on Saturday 21/5 by email (enclosed) - at the last minute, late night last day before arrival 26/5 (21:11 local time) she sent me email saying 'we won't be able to accomodate you as of "over booking by ***********" - clear unacceptable lie as it's their strict responsibilty to check availability PRIOR to confirmation, and even any mistake occured, they still had 5 ! complete days to update (and as expected in such situation - by mobile phone to ensure guest receive the update rather than late last minute email message that can even be missed.. the issue is even worse as that Friday 27.5 was WEEKEND night so all district B&B's/hotels were fully booked - no need to mention the anger, frustration and time needed to find alternative that would suit continuation of our route (no word yet of additional costs involved..) - that was certainly the worst attitude we ever met with B&B's, and accordingly we advise you all - simply stay away !

Okay, we have to admit, we were bad travelers and arrived very late. (We had some good excuses, though, like coming across 2 abandoned dogs on the Burren and being directed by our GPS to a ferry that had made its last trip.) We stayed in touch with Bernadette, and she was so very understanding, it was unbelievable. At, like, 11 p.m., (I know, bad form, huh?) she greeted us in a welcoming manner at the door, and not only that, she helped to carry our suitcases up the stairs! Who does that? Our room was spacious, perfectly clean and very comfortable, bed was good, and the decor was super nice. Views from both windows were pastoral and peaceful. We had a sumptuous breakfast served in a delightful sunroom. I adored the dish pattern! We loved everything about this place, but the best thing was its location--perfectly situated between the start of the Dingle Peninsula road and the Ring of Kerry, which were the two areas we wanted to drive in the coming days. Jimmy talked to us at length after breakfast, and gave us some great tips for our day trips. We used all of them. Inch Beach, fish and chips in Dingle, best ocean vistas. He also gave us encouragement to, on the way back, drive the road over the mountains on the Dingle Peninsula, about which were nervous. We did fine, and the views were spectacular. Thanks, Jimmy and Bernie, for a wonderful stay. You two are amazing. We really hope to come back one day! PS. I adored your dish pattern, Bernie. SO sweet and elegant.
