The cottage was beautifully appointed with a magnificent kitchen complete with Miele appliances and everything you could need. I am a fussy sleeper and I slept so well on the king size bed. The air conditioning was excellent. The living room area was very comfortable and our two grown sons slept well in the upstairs bunk room. There is a charming fire pit with chairs outside the cottage and directly behind it the kitchen and bar restaurant had a very welcoming environment and excellent homemade chicken soup. Down the road we ate at Wilson’s, which was excellent for coffee, bagels, etc. The area is super charming and walkable. I would definitely stay there again.

A perfect house in a quaint town with beautiful furnishings, friendly staff, beautiful landscaping And so peaceful and relaxing! Don’t hesitate to stay here if you’re visiting Kent Connecticut ! The staff allowed me to have a late check out and even sit and relax in the backyard before I left. There’s a wonderful kitchenette that has all kinds of snacks many varieties of coffee and tea and plenty of cold drinks .. just a perfect serene, relaxing weekend.

The Kent Collection has several building and we stayed in the Firefly Room #4 -upstairs. The room was very comfortable and all you needed for a short stay. We stayed from Friday night and out on Sunday. There is no dresser so they gave us 2 luggage racks which worked out just fine. They have a 24 hour help yourself "kitchen" so you an make coffee, etc and snacks anytime of day. The main room is very comfortable as is the outside sitting area. The staff could not be more helpful and accommodating to any needs you have. and are around all day. Doors are locked with codes so entry and exits are easy, no fumbling for keys. Parking is ample. You are also walking distance into town for a full breakfast or lunch -- just a few good options.

Stepping back in time at this beautifully maintained and elegantly decorated Victorian in Kent last weekend. Keli, the Inn Keeper, greeted us warmly upon arrival & we felt at home in all the shared spaces. Meeting and talking to other guests made our experience all the more memorable. The vibe is incredible! Modern touches mixed with period pieces make this place extra special! Highly recommend!

This Inn is perfect! Old world charm but completely new and clean inside. It’s beautiful in the room and in the common areas. The beverage station and snacks were a welcome convenience. It even smelled beautiful. It’s walking distance to shops and restaurants, so ultra convenient. The staff was very attentive and welcoming. We will definitely be back.

Stayed one night on a friend’s recommendation and was even more impressed than expected. The Victorian is stunning, beautiful, clean and staffed by friendly and helpful people. The beds were very comfortable with huge fluffy pillows. Everything was immaculate. Access to the common rooms was great for sipping tea and chatting with friends. Other guests enjoyed the bar and were very friendly. Was absolutely worth the high price point. Would definitely recommend and stay again myself.

I’ve stayed at The Firefly twice and The Victorian once. Each stay was perfect. Spotless rooms, comfortable beds, tasteful furnishings, friendly staff, beautiful communal spaces. Plus, thoughtful complementary amenities like espresso, coffee, water, soda, snacks, yogurt, granola. All within walking distance to Kent’s restaurants and shops. Love it!
