Kenmare Bay Hotel Lodges

My second visit and I look forward to my next visit!. Hotel was very busy when I arrived due to Mother’s Day . I have an EV but all spaces were taken up with ICE vehicles . I waited 10 minutes and someone moved so I was able to charge my car . This is a great added bonus that the Kenmare bay hotel offers and is free to all staying guests . Check in was quick and efficient. While my room is standard if a little outdated , it’s perfectly adequate, the bed was comfortable and the shower was good . I had dinner booked in the bistro . I had what I had on my previous visits the Indian curry and chocolate marshmallow cake , both were delicious. Staff are so friendly and helpful . Music started after 8 and the guys were excellent. Breakfast was lovely on both mornings with lots to choose from including cooked breakfasts , fruit , bread etc Since my last visit they have added a new patio which is a great addition to the front of the hotel .

Staff were nice, hotel was clean. The breakfast wasn’t great - we had the full irish and the french toast and neither were impressed. Dinner was lovely - and the staff were very attentive. The room was basic - no tea/coffee facilities and the room was very warm even after adjusting the temperature. Shower drain was blocked. However, the bed was comfortable and the television was modern. The bar staff were very nice and it was very well laid out.

We recently stayed in one of the Luxury Lodges at Kenmare Bay Hotel and were thoroughly impressed. The lodge was spacious, stylishly presented, and ideally suited for our family of five, offering both comfort and privacy. It was the perfect setting for a special family birthday trip, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Our children were absolutely enchanted—they declared it the most luxurious hotel they have ever visited, high praise from young travellers! A particular highlight of our stay was the exceptional service in the hotel restaurant, led by the ever-attentive Kheegan and his outstanding team. They made our celebration meal for my wife’s birthday truly unforgettable. The entire dining experience was thoughtfully curated, with impeccable attention to detail and a warm, accommodating approach. The Russian Honey Cake, prepared and beautifully decorated by the talented dessert chef, was a standout moment of the evening. It not only looked exquisite but tasted absolutely divine, adding a perfect finishing touch to a very special family evening. Beyond the dining experience, we also made great use of the family-friendly leisure facilities, which offered a fun and relaxing environment for both kids and adults to enjoy. In summary, our stay at Kenmare Bay Hotel was full of luxury and thoughtful touches. Congratulations to Kheegan on recently passing all of his Hospitality exams—a well-deserved achievement that reflects his commitment to excellence. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

So I stayed here for 2 nights very happy to say it was a very pleasure able experience. The staff from the pool to the restaurant to the bar a breakfast were so friendly an helpful. Think this was the best breakfast I have had in any place I have stayed in Ireland fabulous selection of fruits yougarts . Very nice clean a spacious rooms all in all great place .

A big thank you to Andre and his colleagues in the Dining Area. Luvly breakfast of Sneem Pudding Rosscarbery Rashers and fablous sausages cooked perfectly. Full for the day -always a good sign! Thank you everybody who keeps this hotel so good

Food is nice, music every night, nice pool , steam room,jacuzzi ,comfortable place , brilliant staff especially Esther at reception who made us feel at home, I would highly recommend any family to stay here or even a couple or on your own ,10 out of 10
