The Lakeland Kendal Hotel, Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western

入住時發現房間並未打掃，酒店管理混亂；後來換了房間，但室內衞生很差，衞生間垃圾箱也沒有清理

Recently stayed for two nights, the cleanliness was very poor. Crisps were on the floor next to our bed, room hadn’t been hoovered, thick with dust, horrible stains all over tissues/box, dirty bed sheets. We told the hotel manager the next morning who said he would get this sorted for us. While out cleaners had been in, made the bed replaced towels, crisps still on the floor still seen no hoover. Told the girl on reception who said she would hoover it herself and offered us a bottle of wine as an apology. When we returned from being out, the crisps had been hoovered but not bothered to hoover the rest of the room at all. The only thing I can say is the staff are very friendly and area is lovely but wouldn’t return due to how unclean it was and things were still not rectified. For £214 for two nights it really wasn’t worth what we got for our “mini honeymoon”, disappointed.

Staff were friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the full English breakfast cooked to my liking with choice of fried or poached egg. The room I had was lovely and clean with calming colours and big cosy bed. Slightly too warm for my liking (but I could open a window) and the water was too hot when using the shower. Decor was beautiful throughout the hotel.

Even though the bar staff (I believe her name was keira)was lovely had to feel sorry for her as she seemed to be running the whole hotel running from the bar to reception as receptionist (I believe her name to be ella) never seemed to be around. Checking people into their room and guiding people to where the "car park" is located as well as having a smile on her face. Go you girl wishing I had that work effort

Spent one night at the County Hotel or Lakeland Kendal hotel to attend a gig at The Brewery Arts and Cinema Centre. Room was very small (108) clean and comfortable, positioning of the toilet roll holder could prove a task if your on the larger size (really close to the toilet) There was little noise, actually it was relatively quiet even though it overlooked a main road facing the train station. There’s no on-site parking but a few minutes walk away you can park at the cricket club for £2 per day/overnight. Staff were lovely very welcoming and work so hard, they’re a credit to the hotel. Breakfast buffet ok, what we liked was having our full english cooked to our, not something that happens often in chain hotels. Would recommend for a short stay.

Stayed here for 2 nights in a party of 20. The hotel is well located and rooms nice and tidy and clean. Very good for the price. The staff for me were exceptional, especially Ellie who helped me out with a problem when I returned home. She went over and above what you usually get from hotels regarding customer service. Absolute credit to the owners, and definitely will go a long way if she stays in this profession....Look after her....Also the other members of staff were very welcoming, nothing to much trouble, and always smiling and happy to help with any requests. Breakfast was very good with any additional requests provided without any fuss. Would definitely come back here when in Kendal. Thanks for a lovely stay all the team . Would give you more than 5 if possibe.
