The hotel overall was a medium experience for my partner and I. We went during August. We were quite sceptical by booking this holiday after reading mixed reviews about it. However we’re not too picky so we booked it anyways. The first thing in reviews that you read is that the hotel is full of Russians. Which is true. The hotel does cater a lot more to the Russians than the other guests. For example, there’s several animations during the day like darts and evening shows. But they’re all in Russian…. So my partner and I would go and we’d feel very left out as the animation people would only speak in Russian so we didn’t know what was going on. They would joke around and essentially just speak in russian for the whole game and show so we eventually stopped going to the entertainments as it was just very rude. Then the Russian guests would only speak in Russian, no English!!! The bar staff were only friendly to them and also only spoke in Russian. The Russian guests would push in lines during the dinners and reserve towels all day and claim that they were there all day, which they weren’t. The staff of the hotel came across very rude and again only catered to the Russians. When we arrived at the hotel, we didn’t even hear a welcome or a hello from the reception and felt as if we were going through security at the airport. It was just “passport please” and that was it. The hotel rules were also ridiculous. If you were found taking food or snacks to your room, they would try to fine you €50 for that. Also the WiFi, we had to pay around €20 each for 10 day WiFi connection. (You pay for each device). You would also be fined €50 for taking your room towels to the beach or pool. Instead they wanted us to rent special towels for that , that costed around €10!!! The rooms were fine, nothing to complain about. They were cleaned daily very well. The beach is also just rocks so keep that in mind. There are hotel sunbeds that are just for the hotel guests which is also good. The beach bar is a joke on the other hand. You cannot get any alcoholic beverages from the beach bar, only fizzy drinks and juices. The walk to the beach is also terrible, you are walking through this alleyway in between two hotels that is filled with bins and bin bags, which was a terrible walk with horrible smells. There are shops around the hotel, but the scamming is out of this world. Every shop has a different price and they try scam you with a high price even if you’re just buying a packet of crisps. The hotel shop also has high prices which is ridiculous. So we just went to a shop called Carrefour which is around 7 minute walk from the hotel, which has regular Turkish prices. The food was good I will say. But the queues were crazy. Dinner started at 7pm and the Russian guests would queue up from 6:30pm. There would also be a special dish everyday like kebabs or even shark meat. But because of the Russians queuing up, by the time you got to it, there was none left. So th
