Absolutely fantastic set up. Well thought out and laid out, nice and private. Being January, the weather wasn't on our side for sitting outside relaxing and enjoying the views, however, it can be enjoyed from the cosy HotTub! Myself and my partner thoroughly enjoyed our couple nights stay.

Just back from a three night stay at the dog friendly Knockan pod. The pods are very well done and the way they are laid out means you have complete privacy from the other pods on the site (total of 4 pods). All the pods have amazing uninterrupted views over the hillside as far as you can see. The BBQ and hot tub side pods are a great idea and mean you can enjoy them regardless of the weather (we had Storm Eowyn when were were there!!). Free EV charging at each pod was also much appreciated!! Would highly recommend. Ref ********

Absolutely outstanding place to stay! The pod was very clean..hot tub and smoke house was fantastic! Communication with the owners was really good, very quick to respond and made us feel welcome. The view is priceless, will definitely be back again.

Magical views and amazing facilities, we had a power cut which was quickly sorted and were given a late checkout for the inconvenience. Hot tub was fantastic especially in the cold winter weather and the bbq was great and easy to use. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay, far outweighed our expectations we loved it and will certainly be returning xx. We have always been put off due to the price of pods however we certainly were t disappointed and decided we would and certainly wish we had booked sooner. This wee gem is on our list of places to return too. We had a fab time and certainly would recommend to anyone xxx Thankyou for the phenomenal hideaway xxx

Pods are in excellent condition, spacious and have everything you’d need. The added touch of leaving some bacon, bread, eggs, milk and orange juice was a nice touch. The owners were very helpful and on call at anytime for anything needed. We went in November when heavy snow and they ploughed the roads but if you weren’t comfortable driving up/down the farm roads they’d drive you to the village and collect when requested. Great service and friendly

Absolutely lovely stay at this tranquil picturesque pod. The pod is extremely well equipped with everything you could need. The welcome pack was fantastic, set us up for our breakfast during our stay. Lots of tea, coffee and milk provided too. First class! The hot tub pod was great, watching the sun go down from inside the hot tub pod was lovely. And a 3rd pod for BBQ, so nice to have a bbq even when weather not so good. We ordered the butcher pack for the bbq which was excellent value and quality. There is a table & chairs plus sun loungers outside too. Hillhead Hideaways have thought of everything! We loved our stay and will definitely return to this hidden gem. Highly recommended.

Hillhead Hideaways is absolutely fantastic, we stayed for two nights for my partners 30th birthday and we had such a relaxing time. Perfect location, the pods themselves are absolutely beautiful inside, not to mention all the extra touches on arrival. We loved that the hot tub was covered and in its own wee pod so we could still enjoy it in the rain. Along with the bbq being in its own pod too. Thank you Hillhead Hideaways, we can’t wait to come back already.

My husband and I had a weekend away to the Hillhead Hideaway lodges and it was amazing. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quiet getaway. The lodge itself was beautiful and immaculately clean. There were so many lovely wee touches that we really appreciated. The lodges were easy to find and quite private. We loved the hot tub especially as it was indoors and could be used even if the weather wasn’t the best! Would definitely stay again. Thank you 🥰
