Excellent Breakfast & services

An excellent place to stay and only 9 mins from the airport. Great to stay on arrival or night before departure. We were met by the owner, Reynir. The B&B was homely, warm and welcoming. Our bedroom was the music room, where the decoration of the room was musical instruments along the ceiling. A very quirky, different kind of property situated next to the sea. I only had to cross a road to view the Northern Lights who were displayed beautifully. We had a lovely breakfast before setting off on our trip. Transfers and drops offs to the airport are offered, but we had a hired car. There was also use of a fabulous hot tub. Would definitely recommend Ravens B&B

Due to our cancelled flight we needed to find accommodation for the night! Luckily for us Ravens B&B had space! On arrival we were instantly welcomed and shown our room, quirky and rustic was our first impression but was clean and warm. Once we settled in the host offered to drive us and collect us from a restaurant due to the severe weather which was so kind and generous of him. We had full use of the kitchen facilities and helped ourselves to tea! We felt very comfortable and it had a lovely homely atmosphere .! The host went above and beyond to help us and to make our short stay as relaxed as possible. In the morning for breakfast we just helped ourselves to everything, a continental breakfast and had all you needed. Would highly recommend this place, definitely a home from home! Although our stay was brief and not planned I’m so glad we had the opportunity and experience staying there.

We happened upon this bed and breakfast while on a long layover at the Iceland airport. We couldn’t have been happier. Host met us at the airport at 1:00am and even came 40 minutes early due to our early arrival. He was very flexible with check out and incredibly kind. Breakfast was lovely. We didn’t have time to let the host take us on any excursions, but we would absolutely trust him to take us to great spots and give us the inside scoop on the lobby area and unique sights that Iceland has to offer.

Well my experience was not great. My friend and I REALLY wanted to love it but the moment we got there we were told the credit card we used didn't go through (we booked a week before our date of arrival) but since the owner never contacted us we were not given the chance to offer another card. Instead he accused me of being dishonest and trying to con him into a free room, therefore he gave our room away to someone else! I did my best to assure him that I'm not the **** he seemed to label me as, i offered him another credit card with no problem and explained if he would have just contacted me about the card I'd have given him another one. He had my email in case he needed to get into contact with me, not sure why he didn't. He was brash and not very welcoming. He went on about how strict he is about the rules in place but none of the other guests followed them so I'm not sure why he hated us so much. Thank god we only needed a one night stay because we were really happy to leave the next morning. The woman who worked there, we never got her name, she was kind and it was refreshing to have kindness aimed at us while we were waiting for our pickup the next morning. I would've loved to have met her first and not the guy, maybe our experience would've started out better. I'll never go back but I do wish it went better.
