2nd visit and just as good as the first. Lovely apartment, very friendly owners. The apartments are in a good location up a hill. Ideal spot for us with just a short walk into the centre. Booked already for our 3rd visit. Lovely quiet location with breath taking views. Highly recommend

We have just returned from a 10 day stay at Summer Sun apartments in Skala, Kefalonia. I cannot recommend it enough! We stayed in the larger apartment which had a large living area with two beds and a separate bedroom with a double bed. Also in the apartment was a fairly spacious bathroom with a proper shower cubicle (virtually unheard of in Greece) and a good kitchen area. We arrived to be greeted by Tony and were shown to a spotlessly clean apartment which was so well equipped. Everything you could have needed including a double ringed hob, extractor fan and so many kitchen accessories even a cheese grater and toastie maker! The maid was excellent. The views from the first floor (huge) balcony were just breath taking. Sea views and very, very peaceful. Set in beautiful gardens (before the local goat herd demolished the flowers on our last morning ). Only two things could have made an excellent stay perfect. 1. The hillside up to the apartment was very steep but probably made to feel worse as we were in the middle of a heatwave. If you are reasonably fit, it was no problem but if you struggle with hills, you might get a bit overwhelmed. 2. A pool would be a fabulous addition to otherwise great accommodation. There seems to be plenty of room for one and it would be the cherry on the top. We found a pool to use on the beachfront so it didn't spoil it one bit to be honest. We would visit again in a heart beat - fabulous little place :)

Lovely apartments with amazing sea views. The owners are extremely helpful and do everything to ensure you have a wonderful stay. Thank you Antonis and Spiros! Apartment was spotlessly clean and are cleaned everyday. Close to the beach (less than 5 mins), a supermarket and bars/restaurants and only a 15 min walk into the main town area - the road to the apartments up from the beach is quite steep which was fine for us but may be difficult for those with mobility issues. Would highly recommend Summer Sun for a relaxing stay in Skala.

We had a basic studio apartment. Very modern furniture and bathroom kept scrupulously clean. Attentive owners. Pleasant gardens. Quiet. Quite a steep walk up to the accommodation especially with shopping so pleased we had a car! Other than that we can thoroughly recommend this property.

L'appartamento si trova a 700 metri dal centro di SKALA, immerso nel verdea 200 metri dal mare che si può raggiungere tranquillamente a piedi e ammirare dall'ampia terrazza dell'appartamento. La costruzione ha 9 appartamenti di varie dimensioni, noi avevamo l'appartamento T2 che è composto da camera con bagno e angolo cottura, complessivamente di 25-30 mq assolutamente confortevole. La terrazza di oltre 15 mq consente di fare colazione con la vista mare. La cucine è attrezzata in modo basico come tutti i miniappartamenti che si possono affittare in Grecia, ma sufficiente a cucinarsi dei pasti se si desidera. Gli appartamenti hanno un parcheggio privato.La spiaggia di Skala è una delle più grandi di Cefalonia con un mare pulitissimo che ha ricevuto la bandiera BLU. C'è un ottimo servizio di pulizie giornaliero, che sistema la camera con il cambio della biancheria è ogni 3 giorni. Il gestore è gentilissimo e spesso presente nella struttura, disponibile per ogni necessità. Siamo stati molto bene e raccomandiamo a tutti gli appartamenti SummerSun di Skala, dove speriamo di tornare.
