Eco Beach Tent by Billiton

Spent a weekend at Billiton Ekobeach Retreat, and it exceeded my expectations. The tent was comfortable, the surroundings incredibly serene and secluded, and the beach exquisitely beautiful. We had a blast kayaking and basking in the sun on the private beach. The food was exceptional, and the service was exceptional. I mentioned my love for pisang goreng, and to our delight, they fried some for us the next day. Bu Sari, Mas Sandi, Mas Kevin, and the entire staff pampered us with their care. Oh, and don't miss out on their "Sunset Cruise" package. They’ll take you on a cruise to see the islands in the evening, you can enjoy the sunset from the boat, and at the end you can stargaze. Given its proximity to Jakarta, we're definitely planning a return visit soon!

Eco Beach Tent (EBT) is a very nice place to stay in Belitung. EBT knows how to treat their guest with personal touch. Excellent services by warm, helful and very friendly staffs. The food tastes amazing. The dinner was set perfectly. I experienced catching sea urchin from the sea with the staff and consumed it, it was unforgatable experience. The beach was clean, white sandy beach with beautiful view. And very calm sea. Perfect location to enjoy sunset in Belitung. ************* we were lucky to see sea turtle. Insyaa Allah, we will stay longer in EBT on our next visit to Belitung.

I'm not being hyperbole when I say staying at Eco Beach Tent is the rightest decision I've made when choosing my stay at Belitong. I was w/ my family, 3 children, 6 adults. We were having 3 bungalow and everything just feels perfect, from the hospitality to the experience. The natural vibes that you can't get anywhere, with the sound of the jungle from your backyard. The white super soft sand and blue water as your front yard. Laying on a super comfy bed in am even comfier room, experience all that all at once, only at Eco Beach Tent. Plus, maybe this is just me, but taking a shower here is the best shower I've ever had. It's even more relaxing than taking a shower in any 5 stars hotel I've been to. I got to be honest this hotel is not like any other hotel but this is really my cup of tea of a hotel. We were the only family at that time, it's somehow felt like a private island for us. We got complimentary afternoon tea and dinner in a tent at the beach, very intimate 100/100 experience. Treated and greeted w/ an excellent services from the all locals crew, it's also a great experience to able to interact closely with them. In my humble opinion, you haven't experience the best of Belitong if you haven't stay here.

Wish there were a 6th star available. Stayed for 4 days and 3 nights, a wonderful experience after arriving from gloomy, freezing cold Melbourne and a hectic, polluted Jakarta I felt like Robinson Cruzoe in modern day. We were welcomed by Pak Sandy to our 'tent' and the bed was fantastic and from the bed we can see the beach with white sandy beach with clear blue sky. Not crowded as there were 4 tents only. At night we were having dinner by the beach with Chef Lily preparing our foods but she offered us what special request we have and it was fantastic!!! We asked her if we can accompany her to 'Pasar' (wet market) which was an experience in itself, an idea that Ekobeach could provide this to some overseas visitors if they wish. Further down we saw some monkeys and they were still wary of humans (unlike Bali's aggressive monkeys-our faults to give them foods - so hopefully guests at EkoBeach would refrain feeding them). We left to experience the Sheraton and we missed the Ekobeach, especially the staffs too many to apply here, Pak Sandy always kept us company, 'Bugis' and all the boys in the back. We missed BIG TIME the dinner set-up on the white sandy beach while dining under the moonlight with our toes on the sandy fine white sandy sands.

We spent 4 beautiful days at Eco Beach Tent on Belitung Island. It was phenomenal. The beach is gorgeous and private, and you can walk quite far in either direction enjoying the white sand and the rock formations just a few meters into the water. The resort has magnificent views of islands off Belitung’s coast, including one hosting the famous lighthouse, and its location at the end of the road means it is quiet, private, and pristine. But never lonely! Ms. Nugrah and her team made us feel completely at home and were always available if we had a question. The bungalows themselves are gorgeous. Simple, comfortable, and just steps from the beach. The pavilion where we had breakfast on a low table over the sand was a little wooden gem, and all of the food was delicious. Fresh, varied, and accommodating of any dietary restrictions. We couldn’t recommend Eco Beach Tent more. From the boat trip at sunset to the meals and the team, it’s a great place to get away from the noise and spend time with people you love.
