So how I would like to begin this review is with immense gratitude and appreciation for both owner as well as his team at Deyzor who tirelessly move around all day making sure the comfort of their guests.... As soon as we dropped an email for our booking at Deyzor we were responded with a brochure of what all to do, see and other necessary details.... Very informative! And then us being us we had to change our reservation at Deyzor from 2-3 days which the owner (Karanbir) sweetly accommodated. He was also supportive in informing us that since it's raining we better start early around 5 from Manali... as the route is fine but it may get unpredictable... So we started early on... Had to make a lot of stops on the way all thanks to nature in all its glory... ( Right from nature's call to, nature's landslides and the desire to stop and soak in the nature's beauty) We were supposed to reach at 4 pm but we reached at 09:45 pm. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by Karanbir and his team ( ohh that first sip of our welcome drink apple kahwa was heavenly) we were exhausted and very late by the standards of any hotel operating in mountains as the kitchen would close soon but we were swiftly taken to our lovely room with hot water and we took shower and post that we had our lovely meal. Moving around Deyzor... You don't see or even feel that you are at a hotel property.... It feels like you have entered a place of calm... Each wall, each artefact holds a lovely story in itself. I can be there for days and would still find something I would be happy to see .. what amazed us was how the owner was handling so many guest queries ( mostly repeat) with patience and he had so much information. His "Vocal for Local initiative" Strictly Spiti, is absolutely fabulous and we made sure we brought sweet memories of Kaza/Spiti back with us.... At Deyzor we truly felt at home... The food was AMAZING and ensuring such quality at that altitude does portray the effort, owners putting in (they would literally be there from morning to night personally attending their guests, furry friends and locals) to make sure we have a pleasant stay .. they would not hesitate to help and ensure that everything we ask for is arranged and if not, polite and rational service denial (why they don't have coke, pepsi etc to discourage plastic) we often forget that we visit such places as guests and should follow decorum to make sure that we enjoy all aspects and not be nasty and demanding causing trouble of any sorts .. We had a special see off in the early morning hours by our furry friends... (They also have stories, they are rescues) We had a very comfortable stay thanks to Karanbir, Kim (KK) and team Deyzor. We look forward to coming back soon... Thank you! ( I know it's a long review but that's not even close to how much we loved our stay and impressed by Deyzor)... I can just go on n on n on....
