Mythos Palace Resort & Spa

We had an amazing time at Mythos Palace Resort, everything was good: the staff, the room and the food. Variety of food and drinks. You can choose thematic Restaurants for Dinner. Daily room cleaning. Great beach and comfortable sunbeds. Great shows every night. The staff was nice.

My friend and I stayed at an all-inclusive premium resort. The room was clean and cozy, with a minibar, toiletries, and timely housekeeping! The beach had a comfortable entry into the sea, was clean, and well-maintained. There were always plenty of loungers available at any time of the day. The food at the hotel was delicious and varied. The hotel is designed for families and couples. Since we were vacationing as friends, we often noticed "strange" behavior from the staff towards us. It was uncomfortable that during breakfast, they approached us only after elderly couples and families, even though we had arrived earlier. However, this didn’t ruin our vacation, and we would gladly return again.

I visited Mythos Palace with my husband and this was our honeymoon. However, we have a 3 year old daughter so my parents also came along and shared a room with her- so it was a honeymoon & a family holiday, too. This was a Greek Paradise. Honestly the best holiday we have ever been on. The hotel itself is stunning- very grand and beautiful. From the moment we arrived, early hours in the morning, we were greeted by friendly reception staff who welcomed us, checked us in and took our luggage to our respective rooms. In mine and my husbands room, the towels had been made into swans with rose petals on the bed- this was a really lovely touch. We were then invited to go into the main restaurant for a light bite to eat after our journey- this was very much appreciated. The beds were so comfy and we had perfect nights sleep. Minimal noise. The breakfast was always perfect- our daughter loves sausages and every morning, she was super happy getting up to fill her plate! The staff were unbelievably kind, friendly & genuinely could not do enough for us. Our daughter particularly loved Alina in the restaurant and would give her a big hug whenever she seen her. So much so, Alina brought her a very thoughtful gift on our last day! We didn’t go in the main pool as we had our own shared pool, which was perfect! However, there are always looked like there were a reasonable amount of beds. The pool bar was lovely and offered sandwiches throughout the day. The beach bar was were we spent our afternoons and the beach restaurant for lunch as we loved the beach so much. The food here was lovely and a good selection for all of us. There were plenty of beach beds, free of charge and could change beach towels daily. We got a gazebo one day which was a very reasonable €25. Included in this cost was a fruit platter that was brought to us and drinks service. There was a lifeguard on the beach who was always there looking out for people in the sea and warning them to come back if they were going too far. The animation team were great- often coming to the sea to do aqua aerobics- and providing lots of great dancing and entertainment to us on the beach. The smaller children’s pool was also near the beach restaurant and my daughter loved playing in it and often had the pool to herself! There was a playground here too- it was too hot to use this during the day but my daughter enjoyed playing in it of an evening. The evening entertainment was lovely too- something different every night. My little girl enjoyed having her face painted and dancing at the mini disco with Enis and the other lovely staff. We booked the beach restaurant one night for tea which was a nice change. We would have liked to have had a meal at the Thematic Restaurant but unfortunately this was fully booked, however, it looked very popular. modern and with the idea to look exclusive styled hotel; clean, attentive staff, we had the AI+ -＞ included minibar in room; room with shared pool was very good; TV is not smart but many channels in different languages; hair dryer on average; water pressure good; food was ok - could be improved; theme restaurants you need to book on site; drinks: those which are made are very good - some cocktails are already prepared -＞ hands off; beach sandy, clean, big, waves depend on wind; quite far from HER (2h), better to choose CHQ

The vow effect did work. The hotel has 3 bars and 3 restaurant where all the staff were very helpfull special thanks to Evangelia & Charis from beach bar, Andreas from main bar and Billiana from pool bar! So far this is our best Greek vacation. We will be back for sure. :-)

Fantastic hotel. We returned here after a year, and the experience is just as good! Excellent service, very good and varied food. The beach is wide and beautiful, very close to the hotel. This hotel is a perfect base for exploring Crete – a step away from Rethymno, close to Chania, and also to Gramvousa and Elafonissi. Various shops are nearby, so there's no problem with buying gifts for friends or stocking up on olive oil for the next season. In bad weather, there's a great pool – sheltered from the wind – and a guarded parking lot right at the entrance. Highly recommend.
