Sortiris, Ava and Rimmi are the best host you could wish to have on your holiday, from the minute we arrived to the very last day, they were amazingly friendly, attentive to your needs. Artimis apartments are a family run business with a big heart, lovely clean rooms, pool area and bar area with food served from first thing in the morning till last thing at night, nothing is to much trouble for these guys, and BBQ night is a must on a Sunday, plenty of home made Greek food. One of the best holidays we have had☀️ We're not a fan of entertainment and big commercial hotels, preferring intimate, traditional appts/hotels where you can sit in peace and read a book with a pool nearby for the kids. We had all of that and more at the Armetis appts. We also prefer self catering and was able to take a 10 min walk to the coastal road where there was nice places to eat and drink and further up onto the main 'strip'. We loved divinas, Philipo's taverna and medusa. Every morning we would have a full English breakfast at the pool bar. Our kids, aged 11 and 13 were able to have some independence as it was a small complex and loved swimming in the pool with their inflatables. Our appartment had everything we needed and was cleaned daily. We spent days at the beach and a boat trip to spingorola and Elounda. The staff and owners were lovely and friendly as were all the other guests. We'd always arrive back at the appts after an evening out and sit at the bar talking to guests and Sotiris while the kids played a game of pool. Not forgetting, Rimmi who made the best coffees and cocktails 🍹🍸☕️ Have looked to go back next year but they are fully booked. Fingers crossed for 2026 🤞

We have just returned home from the Artemis and had a lovely, relaxing time here. The apartments are situated at the bottom of a little dirt round and about 10 minutes away from the beach and 20 minutes away from the main bars and restaurants. It's very quiet here. Both at the Artemis and the resort. Just what we needed but be mindful if you have young children! Lots has been said about the wonderful family that run this place, and I agree. Sotiris is a top man and he makes you stay as comfortable as possible. As do his staff. The pool and bar area is small, but clean. You'll always be able to get a sunbed or seat and the vibe is very laid back and family. The apartments themselves are fine but we found them a little under equipped which stopped me giving the place 5 stars. There's a sink, kettle, fridge and 2 hobs which seem to take forever to heat. More cooking space and/or a microwave/toaster/oven would've been great as we'd planned to have a proper self catering holiday but had to eat out most times. The prices at the Artemis are great though so it turned out OK. I'd definitely return here.

Our two-week stay at Artemis Apartments was nothing short of exceptional. The hospitality here is second to none, and from the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Sotiris, his wonderful wife Eva, and the barman supreme, Rimi. Their genuine warmth and care made us feel like part of the family, creating a feeling of welcome that stayed with us every single day. The apartments themselves are fantastic—clean, spacious, and well-appointed, each with its own balcony or sun terrace, perfect for soaking up the sun or enjoying a quiet evening. The pool area is well-catered with plenty of sunbeds, so we never had to worry about finding a spot to relax. One of the highlights of our stay was the Sunday BBQ, offered at an additional cost. It was well worth it, providing a fantastic opportunity to meet and mingle with other guests. The food was delicious, and the wine wasn’t bad either! This weekly event was a lovely touch that added to the communal atmosphere of the hotel. Our son loved every moment of his stay and was absolutely gutted when it was time to leave. Another charming quirk of this place is the friendly cats that roam the grounds. They’ve clearly made Artemis Apartments their home and expect the occasional feeding and ear scratch, which added to the homely atmosphere. Location-wise, Artemis Apartments is ideally situated. The beach is just a 10-minute walk away, making it easy to pop down for a swim or a stroll along the shore. The main street, with its array of shops and restaurants, is a 20-minute walk, providing a perfect balance between tranquility and convenience. In short, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The combination of outstanding hospitality, comfortable accommodations, and a prime location made our stay unforgettable. We would 100% stay here again and recommend Artemis Apartments to anyone looking for a truly special place to stay.

This was our first visit to Artemis Apartments and I hope it won’t be our last. We received a warm welcome and were taken to our clean and spacious one bedroom apartment. The pool is of a good size and there are lots of sunbeds and umbrellas. The bar prices are reasonable - a glass of wine being 3 euros and a large beer 3 euros 50 cents. There is a selection of snacks and meals to choose from, all reasonably priced. They held a bbq one evening and the food was fabulous! There is quite a lot of building work in the area which spoils the 500 metre walk to the beach somewhat. However, the beach is fabulous and the cost of sunbed and umbrella hire is reasonable at 6 to 8 euros for 2 sunbeds and 1 umbrella for the whole day. Lots of restaurants to choose from. The staff at the Artemis are friendly and welcome their returning and loyal guests like they are friends, but as new guests, we were treated no differently. Overall, a lovely holiday at Artemis.

The apartment is clean and tidy plus very close to the pool. However that’s about where the good stuff ends. It’s like a flash back to a bygone era! There is literally nothing in the area - it’s a sprawling mass of bars, restaurants and tat shops. Very brits abroad! It’s an incredibly ugly town with nothing special to offer at all. Yes the beach is nice but there’s far better elsewhere. If you want any Greek history and culture Gouves is not for you! The apartment is incredibly basic. The shower is dreadful and sprays water everywhere. Bathroom tiles aren’t anti slip so the floor is dangerous. There’s a shower curtain (who knew these were still a thing) that’s useless. Cockroaches came up through the drain. The sink leaks. The air con leaks and drips all night - we had to put a towel down to catch the water. There’s barely any utensils in the kitchen. The hob didn’t work. One of the beds broke. We got clean towels regularly. We were told not to remove the key from the fob and leave it in room (so electricity stays on to keep air con on). We’ve been told we’re not allowed to move parasols (40 degree heat wave and my 70 YO mum). The parasol we’ve got is broken and ripped. If you’re at the bar constantly and been coming for 20 years they can’t do enough for you. If you just want a break away to try somewhere new they’re not interested. It’s self catering so you’re expected to supply your own food and drink but not allowed to eat/drink it by the pool. We’ve had a good relax and fun but not because of Artemis but rather in spite of. 10/10 would not return or recommend.
