Tuve la oportunidad de tener una invitación para ir a Zanzibar a conocer de primera mano este hotel. La primera impresión fue MÁS QUE INCREIBLE. La decoración y la construcción me llamo mucho la atención. Es diferente a otras propiedades que visité. La visión para los restaurantes y el servicio a las vilas que tienen en mente, es de nivel superior. Cuando estuve allí estaban trabajando en retoques finales en las villas y preparando todo para su apertura. En Diciembre abre las puertas y no puedo esperar el momento para regresar y vivir la experiencia desde dentro.

Our vacation here has been incredible. We have a beautiful villa right on the beach, the sea is amazing, and the weather — despite the forecast — has been perfect (so don’t worry about what the forecast says). The beach, the pool, the temperature — all top-notch. The service is fast, efficient, and friendly. Nothing is ever a problem. Communication through WhatsApp is smooth and super quick, 24/7. We honestly have nothing to complain about. It’s our first time here, but definitely not the last. The best part of it all is the privacy and peace. You’ll fall in love with this place.

I have read descriptions of Paradise that would make any sensible person stop wanting to go there. To accurately define and capture the perfection that is Ycona Luxury Resort in words would take hours and as I prefer not to spend the little precious time I have left in this Eden of a place, I will not even bother to try. You will know it when you experience it. All I really want is to give a heartfelt thanks to all the amazing people in this place who collectively have made our stay truly memorable. I would like to thank the guest services host, Omar, for his kindness, professionalism and mysterious intuitive ability to provide you with what you want without you even having to ask. A sincere thanks also to General Manager Anja for her openness, experience and relentless efforts to ensure guest satisfaction; to Patrick for his warmth, sense of humor, and excellent service. Always there and always with a smile on his face. And to everyone else. Just take my word for it, this place is great. Or dont, either way I´m heading back out to paradise.

Stunning new resort with amazing villas surrounded by beautiful gardens, small lakes and spice garden. The resort design has been very well thought out and very attractive. We stayed in the 2 bedroom pool villa which was absolutely stunning and huge. The outdoor private pool was big with a lovely patio area - partly covered. Inside there was a large open plan kitchen with all modern facilities and amenities. This led into a a spacious and impressive lounge area. Just off this were 2 well appointed separate bedrooms and bathrooms. The villa really did have the WOW factor. We loved it so much that we returned a second time! The main swimming pool area is very chic with a swim up bar and a number of outdoor salas located in the centre of the pool area. There are 3 restaurants including and Italian, African and Fusion Mediterranean. Food was very good and a good choice of meals. The breakfast at the Y Lounge were exceptional - plenty of fresh fruit, smoothies and juices and a great A la Carte menu. Staff here were exceptional and very friendly and keen to please. Couldnt do enough for us! This is a great place to go and chill and relax for a few days! Loved it!

My partner and I had a lovely stay at the resort. From start to finish the service has been excellent. Before we arrived Roberto and Omar checked in to assist with any requests / activities & transfers. The dining team were all lovely, plenty of choice and an exclusive dining experience. The breakfast is fantastic - with the option to have in your villa. It was a lovely surprise bring out a cake for my partners birthday! Pool area and facilities are top notch and space to park if you drive to the resort. The villa itself is simply fantastic. Pure luxury and well worth staying in the signature villas if you can! Special thanks to Omar and Roberto from Guest relations who made the stay extra special for us! Also many thanks to the restaurant staff including James, Dismus & Esther to name a few! Looking forward to coming back with our family in the future

We had an incredible experience at Ycona Beach Resort. What started as just a plan to rent beach beds for a day turned into a six-night stay we’ll never forget. The staff was exceptional—genuinely kind and attentive at every level. The villa was beautiful, with comfortable beds and an outstanding à la carte breakfast every morning. Special thanks to managers Stephan and Omar for making our stay even better. We can’t wait to come back next year to Ycona Luxury Resort! Best regards, Benji & Lotte

The best resort we have ever seen and visited we already have been enjoying So much because of the service and location and also the staff was more friendly especially Mr Omar from guest service, we wish to comeback as soon as possible to have enjoy again

We booked 3 nights with the intention to extend till the end of the week. Glad we didnt book the full week, felt like we couldnt get out there soon enough. The location is beautiful but services leave much to be desired. Staff are not trained, they even struggled with simple things- servers did not know how to open a wine bottle. We booked a dinner on the beach at an added cost, arrived for our dinner only to be told it was going to be held elsewhere. We were taken to the next location which was under trees, not on the beach. Felt they ruined a special occasion for us with no explanation. It was only when I inquired as to why the location was changed. it was simply put down to "because of the wind" - however we saw other people were having dinner on the beach. When I pointed this out their reply was because apparently they booked the service 3 weeks ago. We we never informed of the changes. A special occation but instead we had dinner listening to other members dining at the main area right near us and singers singing like it was a karaoke night. Breakfast should be served at the beach bar, but we were unable to eat it because we were attacked by bees every time. Ended up having dinner at the villa. Advertised as 3 restaurants however only 1 is open at a time. They inform you via whatsapp which restaurant is opening that day and insist on you preordering your food. The staff really do try to accomodate, but because of the lack of training, it is defintly not on par with a 5 star resort. We could not use the sandy beach because it is full of seaweed. Truly disappointed and regret visitting.
