Sani Dunes

Finally returned to Sani after a couple years away. After growing up here, coming back older and maturer really helped bring back memories. I previously stayed at Sani Port and Sani Beach, so it was a first time at Dunes. I wasn’t disappointed. The pools were pristine. Clean, cool and spacious. The restaurants were amazing too. Breakfast buffet was good with a large selection available. However we had dinner one time at the location for breakfast and the service was ok at best. Language barriers and a confusion over a gluten free dish contributed to this. Luckily the intolerance isn’t serious and the dish was in fact gluten free, however it was confusing. The pool bar is amazing with lunch being great. The private beach is amazing, but the addition of security is good, it helps assure you that bags left on beds are safe. The location in regards to the marina is great as it’s next door. Perfect Will definitely be returning soon. Honestly an amazing place Only point of criticism is the use of plastic bottles but maybe lack of recycle bins. You can buy bottles of water from the cafes and bars. Having recycle bins in more numbers around the hotel grounds will help with the environmental concerns as I know the hotel already works so hard to be eco friendly.

Our 9th time at Sani and 4th at Dunes and it’s better than ever under the management of Nicos. Fabulous and attentive service from all the team and the food has been amazing. It feels tranquil even at busy half term week. Just over half way through our stay and booking again for 2025. I work in the travel industry and this is the best !

Again in Sani in autumn. Since 1999 we spent many weeks in Sani, in the beginning in the Porto, since years in the Dunes. Again we were excited about the quality of the Hotel, nicely designed rooms, perfect sevice, huge well temperatured pools, incredible variety of restaurants for every taste with exzellent Food - and over all the warmth of Greek hospitality. The actual General Manager Nikos Ozounis and his team keep an amazing standard with a lot of Heart, we appreciate singe many, many years.

Sani Dunes is nestled in a serene bay with crystal-clear, calm waters and a secluded beach. The hotel is spotless, peaceful, and surrounded by a beautifully landscaped, walk-friendly garden. The staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive. As this is our 2 nd stay at sani we were recognized by some of the staff , which added a personal touch to our stay. We enjoyed the diverse range of restaurants in the Sani area. Our 4-year-old absolutely loved the hotel, as it is child-friendly.

This is a beautiful hotel and the pools and beach are lovely but extremely expensive for what you get in comparison with other properties in Greece, and would NOT recommend for couples. Many restaurants were laden with children, the staff really do try to keep a separate adults area but it is somewhat impossible for them and we were there completely outside of school holidays. We also specifically asked not to have a room near children and we had them running above us, the hotel were not prepared to move us to assist with this, although to be fair to them it was at near capacity. Much of the service in the restaurants was very impressive, would particularly call out Grill by the Beach and Pines. Also to note - there is no kind of concierge service, the staff only seem to know about Sani Resort, so if you want any help exploring the wonder that is Greece you will be disappointed!

Having visited the Sami resort for over 10yrs and many years twice a year as this year, it is a pure treat. The hotel and resort is luxurious and stunning. Specifically Sani Dunes, from the staff to the service to the ambiance and we won’t even start on the restaurant and the Spa, all are just perfect. The team at Sani Dunes, whether it’s the Duty Manager (Panagiotis) who is always on hand to welcome you and make sure the team look after you, or the Guests Services Team who speak to guest daily to ensure you have everything you need or even Mr Nikos the General Manager who is always visible and on hand. The Sani Dunes team sure know how to welcome and look after their guest and their every need. The vast array of restaurants across the resort at phenomenal and cater for every taste, our favourites are Fresco (the fillet steak is melt in your mouth), Asian, and also the Greek options (Vosporos and Ergon) and juat wonderful. Make sure you go on the Sunday cruise, the white party (on a Wednesday) and if you get the chance try out the Volvo Tour which takes you away from the resort to explore some stunning local villages and spots. Finally a must go on a visit to Sani Dunes is the Spa…. The treatments they offer are just the perfect way to fully relax. Whenever you visit Sani Dunes, you will be looked after and you will NEVER be disappointed’ We can’t wait to go back in 2025!
