Karlstad Swecamp Bomstadbaden

NEW Am staying 1 night at this scenically placed campsite on Lake Vanern near Karlstad in Swedish Lake District allocated a stony grassy pitch right beside the entrance exit gate to ensure I suffer the noise of all entrances and exits, pay over £38 for the “privilege” try to eat at the on-site “restaurant” queue and be ignored by stalk for 15 minutes waiting for a table when many are empty. Then he told no printed menus are available and can hear many seated guests asking when there food will be ready after extended waits. On asking waitress how long a simple dish of Fish and Chips would take she calls over the so called “Manager” who tells us to scan and download the QR code at the table for what’s on offer and cannot give a wait time for any dish, this is the “Owners” policy. I ask to speak to the Owner and am then told to leave by “The Manager” who refuses me service. I told him what I think of him and his so called customer service and cook my own meal at my Motorhome “Entry/Exit barrier space. Do not waste your time and money frequenting this couldn’t care less so called Family campsite. I would rate it no ⭐️ if available and will tell all my Motorhome friends who number in the thousands across Europe to avoid it like the Plaugue!!!
