I had a wonderful stay at Ngorongoro Farm House, surrounded by beautiful flowers in full bloom. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, making it a perfect place to unwind after a day of safari. During Happy Hour, I enjoyed a cocktail called Tanzania Sun Down, which was a delightful way to take in the stunning surroundings. For dinner, they prepared stir-fried noodles (yakisoba) with ingredients of my choice, which was a unique and tasty experience. One of the charming details of this lodge is that rooms are named after animals instead of numbers—mine was called "Nyani" (monkey). The room was spacious, clean, and completely free of insects, which made for a very comfortable stay. Unlike some other lodges, the three-prong power outlets were easy to use, which was a small but appreciated convenience. The room faced a vast, open farm area on the opposite side of the entrance, offering a serene and picturesque view. The shower provided plenty of hot water, though it only had an overhead spray, making it a little tricky to avoid washing my hair when I didn’t want to. Overall, Ngorongoro Farm House provided a comfortable, scenic, and relaxing stay with great food and drinks. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
